Archie nodded. “Thank you.” He took the last bite of his hamburger and as he was in the middle of eating it he suddenly stopped. He stood up quickly and looked around, clearly terrified. He looked like a deer who sensed a wolf nearby.

Abrams shifted to try and meet his gaze,” Hey, what’s wrong?” she asked before looking around observantly for any signs of danger. For a moment she was miffed that she wasn’t armed, but she was off-duty and on a starbase where she wasn’t an assigned security officer, so it wasn’t her place. At least she knew that should something happen, she had her krav maga training and many, many objects at her disposal.

Ensign Abrams, Security

Zeke was drinking a nice, tall glass of ice cold Altarian spring water. Suddenly, right in the middle of his guzzling action, he hiccoughed. The result was a spray of water that he expelled from his mouth and nose.

This covered the area immediately in front of him to the wall of the back of the counter to where he was seated.

CMO

Cassidy watched Drake for a moment to make sure he wasn’t in any serious trouble, but then resumed her survey of the room.

Archie turned to look at the CMO. “Are you ok, Click click.” he asked, his attention drawn back to the hear and now.

“Arrgh,” Zeke replied. He used his napkin to set off the area immediately in front of him. “Yes, I’m fine, thank you. I just need to remember not to drink down the wrong pipe.”

“What about you, Archie, are you okay? You seemed… afraid of something just a minute ago,” Abrams said gently
