Range nodded, “I have an idea I am going to explore to help the kid, but Ummmm we have a slightly different issue to deal with as well.” Range state look at the much younger officer. “How to put this, I would try delicately but ummm not my style. That boy has a crush on you. So ummm you need to tread lightly.” Range stated flatly, taking the last swig of his drink. Range shrugged then, “I feel for the kid, adult sized but not ready for it”

Cassidy’s blond brows lifted in surprise and she seemed to be processing this news intently. “A crush…” She leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes. “Well crap,” she said flatly. “I can’t believe I missed it, but then again I am his mother’s best friend and am around quite a bit.”

“But yeah, warning well heard.” Abrams sighed. “I feel for him too. He’s dealing with a lot without even considering hormones.” She opened her vivid blue eyes and gazed at Range. “Any advice. Not exactly been in this position before. I’m involved with someone, but I’m not sure if that’s a good thing to bring up with him or not.”
