It might end up being an exercise in creative blending, but please do join me. I’ve booked Holodeck 2 for next Wednesday at 1900 hours for three hours, so please do join me. Bring sheet music if you have it for any stuff you like, or we can generate it.

As you already know, I have absolutely no talent with instruments or singing. But if you need anything to help make this thing happen, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. Anything to prevent the crew’s further descent into rampant hedonism.

Vora chuckled when his reply came in and she couldn’t help but grin widely. She replied back to Johann:
Anything for the improved functioning of the ship. Your attendance is requested at least at whatever eventual performance is created, but consider yourself to have a standing invitation to hang out at our rehearsals, such as they might be.

Avik pulled up her emails and spotted one from Vora. Her curiosity sparked, she pulled it up and open the contents. She skimmed the words careful as she took several moments to think on the offer. The XO held no musical talent she could add to the endeavor, aside from a keen ear to locate sour or off notes. Making a decision, she began to type her reply.

While I enjoy a variety of non-lyric music, I do not play an instrument or sing. It was kind of you to extend your offer and you have my appreciation for it. Being a capable individual, I have confidence the included crew will enjoy themselves.

“Capable? Capable? Bullshit!” Vora muttered at her screen. So it was apparently okay for her to create opportunities for crew mingling, but in critical situations, her instincts and life experiences were hinderances? Wonderful, she thought dryly.

OOC: And that’s why Avik never actually interacts with the crew. :P The one time she’s actually trying to be nice, she upsets a crew member and distance is best. Have guys with the side sim.
