After a few seconds the tricorders relayed that there was indeed a lifeform in the bushes, an Andorian male to be precise. The hand waved again, followed by a weak cry for help. They also noted that there were several smaller lifeforms dotted around them in the trees and undergrowth although the species was unknown.

Mother Hen

“Did you hear that, sir?” Byr announced, showing his tricorder to Cross as he heard the voice, showing the multiple lifesigns on his display. He took a step behind Cross and pulled out his own weapon. Once he knew what the lifesigns were, he thought maybe they could just be scared away.

Torgh endured the latest delay with a stoic gaze that was betrayed by his frustrated breathing. He wanted to do something rather than stand about and now they were saying they found something. He admitted to being concerned about Byr in this weather. Andorians and tropics did not mix well. The others he was less concerned over. “What is it?” he asked, crossing his arms over his chest. Another ‘Ohhhh’ being playing with them? While he tried, his tone was still mixed with some annoyance.
- Torgh

Amze adopted a thoughtful pose, “If I had my guide to the smaller creatures in the universe, I might have been able to try and negotiate. Alas, I only packed my guide to Klingon Punching rituals.”

Amze Ezma

They were urged to get a move on then suddenly they were surrounded by Munchkins. Surely the great and powerful Ohhhh would have known they were there. He shifted and looked around at the others to get an idea of their visible morale. Given that they had crashed landed that was a bonus. Given that they were healed by the Ohhhh people even as a self-seeking act was ‘nice’. Torgh didn’t like nice. He’d always had trouble trusting ‘nice’. The humans thrived on it. Vulcan’s didn’t care. Ferengi took advantage of it. Andorians accepted it. Klingons questioned the motives. He tugged at his beard and frowned. He glanced at Amze as he caught her comment. “When we stop for the night may I look at that.” He shrugged. “Always good to brush up.”
- Torgh

Amze nodded, “You may, I found the chapter on how to hold your fist quite enlightening.”

Hearing the voice of the resident shrink Johnsons ears pricked up. Listening in on the conversation between Torgh and Amze the captain waited for them to finish before moving on to speak. “Amze and Torgh” he said addressing both officers. “Would you mind if I two looked into this guide regarding Klingon punching rituals it sounds most intruiging.” he concluded by saying.

Johnson, CO

Torgh was in mid tug on his long goatee when the Captain said that. He wasn’t surprised. Many different races found that Klingon rituals were fascinating and wanted to know more. Torgh felt that this was a factor of most races feeling they needed to repress their inner selves that allowed them to express themselves better. Klingon rituals allowed one to, frankly, let it all hang out, as one fitness instructor had said. “Be my guest,” he said.
- Torgh

“Thank you, I cant wait” Johnson responded in an eager manner sounding like an excited child.

Emily sighed and went towards teh cry for help and stopped just short to examine the area “Are you stuck?” She asked as she noticed the smaller creatures on her tricorder.

Bradford (eng)

“Rafting would have been fun” Chris began his response by speaking aloud in a cheerful manner with the hopes that he would be able to lighten the morale of those on the away team. Turning towards Bradford and the creature he spoke once again. “What a fascinating creature” he spoke before taking a deep breath. “What are you doing out here on your own little man” he went on to say approaching the unknown lifeform.

Johnson, CO

Gong’da sighed. “Finally! Someone I’m taller than!”

Gong’da CMO

The captain simply giggled in response.

“Don’t get too used to it doctor, but enjoy it while you have it,” Byr said with a smile, the heat starting to make him sweat a little bit. Thankfully Byr was a rather adventurours spirit, he didn’t seem to mind too much about the heat.

OOC: Just a note as something mentioned earlier - just checked: Andorians could still thrive at near the boiling point of water, even if they did lose 10% of their body weight over a couple of days… :P
Ben

Emily looked around at the little people that they were now surrounded by ~Great Oompa Loompas. Where’s the candy flavored wallpaper and the fizzy water river?~ She thought to herself. (OOC: When were we healed by the Ohhh people? What did I miss?) She stopped and waited for the Captain to give additional orders.

Bradford (Eng)

OOC: Going to drop Em an email as shes LOA and see were we are taking the thread from here - Louis

OOC: I have been wondering where she’s at, I haven’t had any luck reaching her either.

Krys

Gong’da ws bored waiting and noticed that the Klingon was near a Bush. Gong’da walked back slowly as to not try to make himself known, which was kind of easy since he was small and that there were a bunch of new small beings around. He got behind the Klingon and went down on all fours and slowly made his way to the Klingon. When he was in striking distance Jr let out a loud enough growl for the Klingon to hear. Once the Klingon turned around Gong’da chattered his sharp teeth and lunged at the leg of the mighty Klingon trying to scare him.

OOC: I hope you don’t mind me saying I was quite. I know klingons are good at hearing things but I was bored and wanted to continue our playful banter.

Gong’da CMO and Nishma for life!
- Love it!

Emily looked around “We need to get moving. I personally don’t want to be out here when the sun goes down. Let’s get moving.” She said

Bradford (eng)

A finger was raised by Amze. “Agreed, but first I think we have to deal with the small creature attached to our friend’s leg.”

Amze Ezma

Torgh was distracted. The little creatures were less distracting as the sense of ‘nature’ around him and the desire to get out of the mud and going on their trek. He’d feel better when he was on the move. As it stood, he was wondering if they would get away, now with the new Andorian present with his related dwarves. Being the counselor and all he was also distracted by what was happening and how the crew was taking having had a crash landing, injured, healed, shuttle sunk, stranded and then this. He heard a growl that sounded like a sick Targ. As he turned suddenly he felt a stabbing pain in his calf. Startled he turned dragging the Nish’ma along. “Oh for the love of Kahless!” he said, half picking his leg up and trying to shake. Then he had a sudden thought that there might have been tube grubs that had gotten onto his leg from the mud which attracted the Ferengi. The bite stung .. a lot .. but he was more surprised and concerned. He was going to have to watch himself that he didn’t become Nish’ma food when he slept. Gong’da might be small but he imagined he could eat a great deal. “What do you eat when you can’t get Klingon?” he bellowed.
- Torgh

“Well, some plants can provide nutrition, along with mushrooms, I say we keep an eye out for things we may be able to use to supplement our food on the way to where we were meant to land,” Byr answered. “At the same time, they could also be poisonous, so don’t go eating just any plant, make sure they are OK for consumption first. A defensive mechanism that some plants have,” he cautioned. “Of course, they may also be some wild animals where we might be able to get some meat, if we’re lucky and quiet enough,” he added factually, and then curiously began keeping an eye out as they started their journey for such things.

Ensign Byrnarterro Ch’riaqer, Science

“Ensign Byr” the captain spoke. “I am leaving you in charge of providing food and drink for us. I will leave it in your capable hands to determine what is and what is not safe for consumption.” the captain spoke in a fast paced manner.

Johnson, CO

Emily looked around “Are we making camp here or are we moving on?” She asked the others slightly confused as to exactly what they were doing at the moment “I thought we were supposed to be rendevousing with the other away team.” She stated looking at the Captain. (OOC: Did we get treated for our injuries? just curious?)

Bradford (eng)

“I would suggest moving while we have daylight, but also to look for food while we do so,” Byr replied to Bradford. “I’ll keep an eye out, sir,” he responded, not expecting to ever be directly addressed by the captain at his current rank, he was taken slightly off guard when the Captain said his name. He then began to look around for anything that could be used as a possible food source for the journey they had ahead of them.
