OOC: If anyone wants to jump in with their own characters artistic capabilities you’re more than welcome to join in if you want to. This is just a little something I wanted to try to develop my writing skill a little bit more.

IC:

“There you are Mr Hegush,” Michaelangelo smiled as the ships art program commenced. “I hoped you would come back, today the lesson will be in the gardens.” He guestured to a gap in the trimmed garden bushes where a glimps of the the vast greek garden and it’s array of Olympian statues lay waiting. He’d found the program in his first few weeks on board and had tweaked it from lessons in a stuffy Renaissance loft to an ancient Greek period. His second favourite period of human history.

“I was thinking of painting Apollo again, I didn’t quite get him right last time,” Falz followed along behind as the pair rounded into the vast garden of statues, spotted with other students painting their own canvases.

“True art is but a shadow of the devine perfection,” the artist said calmly, “You are only painting Apollo’s shadow and not Apollo himself.”

“Even his shadow is devine,” Falz joked, though the compliment was sincere. He found an unsused easle and picked up a brush swirling the tip in a splotch of paint. Satisfied with the colouring he used the brush to make the first stokes on the canvas. In his minds eyes he pictured the God of light strolling through the garden with a trail of creatures trailing behind, eyes glowing in the light of his sun.
