Two hours later, the engineer started to stir and cracked open an eye trying to figure out what had happened and where she was.

Bradford (eng)

Nurse Able noticed the young engineer beginning to stir and went over to her bedside, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “Take it easy Ensign, you’re going to be sore. Do you remember what happened?” she asked gently as she waved over to Gong’da that his patient was awake.

Mother Hen

Gong’da noticed and came over. “Hello! Please do as she says. You just had open heart surgery. You’re going to be just fine. ” He waved for more sedation. “I want you to rest now and when you wake we’ll talk then. “

Gong’da CMO
Emily looked at the CMO and started to say something as he administered teh additional sedative and she fell back asleep.
OOC: Sorry I’m late! My ship was in trouble and I focused on that and forgot about this one. I’m sorry.

IC: Nurse Able handed Gong’da Emily’s scans and awaited any further instructions.

“There nurse. Once she wakes from this then please let me know and we will talk with her. If she says anything before I arrive then please note it. Thank you. ” He smiled at her showing his razor sharp teeth.

Gong’da CMO

Having stepped out of the turbolift captain Chris Johnson walked along the corridor and were he halted roughly halfway down and made a sharp turn left entering a large set of double hydraulic doors as he did.
Through those doors, the captain found himself in the ships main sickbay. Standing in the centre of the large futuristic medical centre the captain began to scan for the ships Chief Medical officer a Ferengi male by the name of Gong’da. Locating him Chris walked over to him and began to speak in a polite manner. “So Gong’da how many slips of latinum will it cost me to find out how my engineer in doing?” he said in an immature manner.

Chris Johnson, CO

There was a twinkle in his eyes at the mention of latinum. He then shook his head reminding himself he was no longer that kind of ferengi but old habits and child indoctrination are hard to break.

He smiled showing his razor sharp teeth and spoke in a tone to match the Captain’s. “It will cost you nothing Captain. It is my honor, duty and it is a service I provide for for fr… fr… fre.....fre… free.” He struggled to get out the last word. “Sorry Captain. That word is still new to me and very hard to say. It was never allowed to be in my vocabulary. She is doing well. I repaired her heart and treated the electrical burns. She is lucky to be alive. I almost lost her twice. But my voodoo is strong as you all say. She did just wake up unexpectedly and wanted to speak. It was way too soon after her heart surgery so I gave her another sedation to rest. She needs that. She should wake up in about 20 hours. She can talk then. Is there anything else I can help you with Captain?”

Gong’da CMO

“That will be all, for now, Doctor I may be in contact later on to get some more information” the captain began by saying in a relieved voice upon hearing his Engineer was in good health.

Emily rested quietly for the next twenty or so hours before starting to stir again. She felt like a shuttle had run her over multiple times. She stirred only slightly and fell into a lighter sleep until the nurse came around.

Bradford

Nurse Kylie peered at Bradford as she stirred and gave her a comforting smile. “Hi there sweetheart, how are you feeling…gum?” she asked as she pulled a stick out of the neverending stash in her pocket. “Yo short round!” she yelled to Gong’da. “The chick’s awake!”

Mother Hen

OOC: lol! That’s hilarious.

IC: Gong’da looked up from the floor as the very quiet sickbay turned real loud all of a sudden and he fell out of his chair.

He got up and while walking or waddling to her he shouted. “By the powers of Greyskull! Do not call me that unless you are Doctor Jones!” He made is way up and pulled up his stand so he can see over the bed. “Hello Emily. How are you doing?”

Emily looked at the nurse for a moment and then at the CMO “Like I’ve been hit by a shuttle…Care to fill me in?” She asked as she sat up carefully, her hand stinging and clearly not sure how she ended up in Sickbay.

“Sure. I will do my best.” Gong’da said. “You were in the holodeck and spotted something very unusual and when you bent to pick it up it shocked the crap out you and literally sent you flying over 30 meters. You hit the wall and your head was bleeding and you had a concussion. But you also had 3rd degree electrical burns on your body, like your hands and face and chest . Your heart stopped beating because it was burned and fried and I had to perform a open heart surgery on you to repair it. “
