Ryalla turned to face the transporter beam and screamed as the counselor appeared unexpectedly in her quarters. She huddled as close to the door as she could and pleaded through it. “Please help me Lt! Some nutter just appeared in my room! Help!” she screeched as she picked up a nearby paperweight and threw it at the intruder.Mother Hen
OOC: That’ll teach you for not knocking! :)
OOC: Hm....okay....lol
“It’s alright, Ryalla it’s probably just the Counselor.” Cross said in a calming voice as he waited and listened to hear if it had been the Counselor.
Frogue jumped back as the young lady backed away from him. Putting up his hands he replied, "I am sorry that I scared you. Please for me; I am the ship's counselor, Lt. Timothy Frogue...please let me help you." FrogueRyalla had a face like thunder as she threw her arms up in the air. “You’re the counselor? Seriously?!” she protested as she glared at him and shook her head. “You just beam in here with no warning?!” she gritted her teeth and stared at him for a couple of seconds before she remembered why she had been upset in the first place and slumped back down on the floor with her head in her hands. “This is so messed up…” she said quietly as she began to weep again.

OOC: Just combining threads
“I am the counselor and it was my error to beam into your quarters; for that I am sorry. I was acting on what I thought was a medical emergency, sometimes that medical override can be worse than we desired. Please let me talk to you and see if I can give you any help” said the counselor trying to save the situation.
Frogue
“Ryalla? Counselor?” Cross called through the comm system from outside in the corridor as he tried to figure out what was going on inside. If the Counselor was able to take over he could return to his duties.

Ryalla sniffed and dried her eyes looking up at the counselor. She knew she needed to get this back under control to protect her father so she gritted her teeth and rose to her feet, clearing her throat. “I’m sorry, it’s just me being silly…you didn’t need to come…” she said quietly as she tapped the comm unit. “I’m sorry Lt, it’s my fault, I’m sorry to be a bother…” she added apologetically.
Mother Hen
“I just want to make sure you’ll be okay, Ryalla. Is the Counselor there? Talk to him, he can help you a lot.” Cross said soothingly sighing in relief.
Cross Sec
Ryalla looked the counsellor up and down a couple of times before tapping the comm link again. “He’s here…” she said in a somewhat irritated and unimpressed tone. She slumped cross legged on the floor and rested her chin on her hand. “So what now? We just talk?” She asked with a bit of a sneer on her face.
Mother Hen
“Good luck,” Cross said in parting to Ryalla as he took his leave and returned to his duty.
Cross Sec
Ryalla sighed as she heard Cross leaving and just stared at the counselor. “Well?” she asked, clearly irritated by him. “What do you want to talk about?” she asked as she shrugged her shoulders.

Bump for when Tim returns

Cross was still shaking his head in his musings on Da’Ralle as he made his way to Ryalla’s quarters. How would he get Ryalla out? He paused as he stopped before the quarters and tapped his combadge.
=^=Cross to Lieutenant Oshi. Lieutenant, Du’Ralle, your Ryalla’s young friend has requested to see her in sickbay. Might I accompany your daughter to sickbay?=^= Better to try and remain on good terms with the Lieutenant then to begin to antagonize him.Cross COS
OOC: Sorry to nitpick but he’s a Lt, or at least pretending to be :)
OOC: So noted, my apologies I did go looking for his rank but couldn’t find it. Changed!IC: Oshi’s head popped out from under Lt Starla’s duvet with a groan of annoyance. “I can’t catch a break…” he muttered. Seen as his last run in with the security chief almost blew his cover he thought he had better be a little more compliant this time. Still wrapped in the duvet, he scrabbled around by the side of the bed to locate his communicator as Starla’s head popped out of the other end of the bed. “What is it sugar?” she asked, somewhat irritated that their evening had been interrupted yet again. Oshi waved his hand at her as he located his comm badge and tapped it, still a little flustered. =/\= Um…what? Oh yes…yes I suppose…I’m on my way… =/\= he grumbled in annoyance as he sighed and looked at the delicious form of Starla looking hopefully at him. He shrugged his shoulders as she scowled at him, realising she would be sleeping alone again tonight. He gave her one final passionate kiss as he pulled on his pants and reluctantly headed out of the door.
He trudged down the corridor still in his vest and rolled his eyes as he arrived back at their quarters. “Unlock…” he begrudgingly said and was somewhat startled to find someone else in his quarters. He shot across the room and grabbed Tim by the collar. “Who the hell are you and what are you doing in my quarters?!” he demanded, his eyes flashing with anger.
Mother Hen
“Lieutenant!” Cross snapped crisply as he stepped into the quarters so he could assist in quelling the situation.”The Counselor came to speak with your daughter as she was very distraught by what took place in the holodeck. Let him go!”

Oshi jumped at the firm voice behind him and reluctantly released the counselor with a sigh. He shot Ryalla a menacing look as she shuddered in the corner before putting a smile on and turning to face Cross. “I’m sure she was, maybe she should have thought of that before her little escapade…” he replied with a clear annoyance in his tone. He turned to Ryalla and clicked his fingers in a somewhat derogatory fashion. “Come on then you, your friend apparently wants to see you…goodness knows why…” he muttered under his breath. Ryalla cautiously rose to her feet as she looked to Cross, ignoring Oshi’s gaze. She tentatively took a step closer before Oshi sighed and tutted. “Come on, come on! I haven’t got all day! I’ve got a rather stunning young filly gently simmering in her quarters and I’d like to get back there to…” he paused as he gave a rather sleazy grin to Cross, “…make it up to her…” he chuckled as he pushed the young girl towards Cross.

“Thank you, Lieutenant.” Cross said with a frown, not liking this man at all. How had he even got through Starfleet Academy with that attitude? The trained psychologist in him began to run down an assessment of the man. Very narcissistic and self centered, egotistical, perhaps a meglomaniac. All attributes that seriously concerned him but it was not his real department.
Nodding once to Oshi, Cross led Ryalla quickly from the quarters and waited until they were in the turbolift before looking at her with concern.
“Ryalla, your father does not harm you, does he?” He asked softly, his voice full of concern but he really did not like how the man had treated the young girl. He obviously had no concern for her feelings or respect for her as a person at all.Cross COS
Once the doors closed, Ryalla breathed a sigh of relief that she was safe from that maniac for the time being. At the mention of her father, Ryalla felt a lump form in her throat as she wondered where he was and what horrors were being done to him. She desperately wanted to see him again but as she looked at Cross’ pentrating gaze, she knew the only way to do that would be to keep playing along. Fighting her instincts, she bit down hard on her lip, feeling a warm trickle of blood make it’s way down her chin. She hastily turned away and wiped it off with her sleeve. “He’s just angry that I got into trouble…” she muttered quietly, still turned away.
Mother Hen
Cross noted the conflicting emotions that played on Ryalla’s face and the biting of her lip with the trickle of blood before she turned away and his frown of concern increased.”That does not excuse his treatment of you. You have the right to petition to the Captain if you would like to declare independent status. Just because he is your parent does not mean he has the right to abuse you.”

Ryalla nodded, still not making eye contact. “Thank you Lt, I’ll bear that in mind…” she replied quietly as she finally turned to face him. “Is Du’Ralle alright? Is he angry with me?” she asked with a worried look.
