Byr had needed to get cleared for duty. He had a spring in his step that was unnatural for someone, but he was always fascinated by the different sciences, just his specialty lie outside of medicine and psychology, he still found each of them fascinating in his own way. Approaching the sickbay, Byr entered and walked up to the duty nurse. “Hey there, I’m Ensign Byr Ch’riaqer, I’m the new science officer aboard, I’m here for my boarding physical,” he said with maybe too much enthusiasm for someone about to be examined.

Nurse Kylie, still chewing gum, looked the new officer up and down and shrugged her shoulders. “Sorry love, not my department, you want one of them brainbox doctors for that…” she replied as she looked around sickbay for a doctor. Seeing Gong’da chatting to one of the junior doctors, she put her fingers in her mouth and let out an impressive whistle. “Hey! Boss Man! Tea break’s over, got an eager young chap looking for a medical over here!” she hollered across sickbay with her usual lack of professionalism and courtesy. Turning back to Ch’riager she gave him a quick smile, “he’ll be right over love, just take a seat…” she said as she climbed onto the nearest biobed for her afternoon nap.
