After his prolonged rest following his surgery, a very ill tempered and groggy Du’Ralle came to. His disposition was not the most pleasant at the best of times but he was disorientated and still sore so his temper was not to be trifled with. As he sat up he grunted as his eyes adjusted to the hideously bright lights of sickbay. Realising where he was, he leapt off the bed with a roar and grabbed a nearby medic by the throat.“What is the meaning of this?!” he bellowed as he hoisted the young medic up against the wall. “Why have you brought me here?!” he demanded to know as the young medic whimpered & trembled as he tried to shrug his shoulders. Du’Ralle dropped him to the deck in disgust as he began to pace sickbay looking for his clothes. He was still sore from his injuries but as a warrior he ignored the pain, still fuming at being brought to where sick people were.
The young medic scurried into the office and with a shaking hand tapped his comm badge.
=/\= Medic Jones to Security, your assistance is required in sickbay, I have a psychotic Klingon on the loose! =/\=

=^=Cross here. On my way!=^= Within a few moments Cross with a couple of other security NE’s rushed into sickbay, phasers in hand and at the ready. Seeing the cursing young Klingon he barked.
“Du’Ralle, stand down! You were brought to Sickbay to treat your injuries from the holodeck.”Raising his phaser he warned,”Don’t make me stun you and put you back on a biobed. This is on heavy stun, more then enough to drop you.” He added.Cross CSO
With his fists clenched, Du’Ralle squared up to Cross, despite being several inches shorter and studied him carefully to see if he was bluffing. He noticed Cross’ steady hand on his phaser and determined gaze and concluded that he was completely serious. Du’Ralle paused for a moment before grunting and unclenching his fists as he put his hands on his hips.
“Hegh ghotvam vIleghjaj SoH!” he spat at the security chief, roughly translated as ‘you should have let me die’, and folded his arms in submission. He clenched his jaw tightly as his wound began to ache and took a quick look round sickbay.
“What a waste of a good warrior then.” Cross retorted as he relaxed slightly and let his weapon arm drop.
“Where is she?” he asked plainly as he briefly leant against the bed.
Mother Hen
“Who?” Cross asked.

Du’Ralle rolled his eyes like it was the most obvious question in the world. “Ryalla? Who do you think I meant?” he asked with a bit of a sneer on his face.
Mother Hen
Gong’da could not believe his eyes and ears. The kids mother was right. He is a little shi.....demon. Gong’da spoke in a cool but commanding voice. “Du’Ralle! I do not care how much you can get away with with your mother but in here I am king. You will set your sorry butt back down on the bed, calm yourself and no more attacking the staff. You are in need of a serious series of spanking and other disciplines. But I will be more than willing to have Officer Cross here stun the crap out of you and I mean that literally. I will not clean it up and make you lay in for days. Now sit back down. “

Du’Ralle peered at the Ferengi with a slight look of disdain before bursting out in a raucous laugh and slapping him firmly on the shoulder. “You are small Ferengi, but you have the heart of a Klingon warrior!” his voice boomed through sickbay as several patients looked up in surprise. He dutifully sat back down on the bed, still laughing. “You will fetch my friend please?” a somewhat calmer young man asked Cross.

Gong’da was taken aback by the sudden turn but wasted no time. “Of course. Officer Cross can you get the young lad and I will stay here. Bring both of their parents as well. Thank you and thank you Du’Ralle.”
Gong’da CMO
Cross nodded in agreement and seeing no need for more talk left sickbay, shaking his head and smiling to himself. The training matches he planned to have with the young man would prove interesting indeed.

Du’Ralle scowled in disgust at the mention of his mother and folded his arms, glaring at the doctor.

Gong’da noticed the scowl. “Now, now Da’Ralle. She needs to be here because of protocol. Not because I want her. You know she may not be a warrior like you but have you ever thought about how strong she really is? Thought about how hard it is to raise a fine warrior like yourself with no help? How hard it is for her to be around others of your kind knowing that they know she has shunned your ancestral ways. How that in fact and in turn made you train harder to be better than the others? In a way she has helped you become the awesome fighting machine you are right now. “
Du’Ralle rolled his eyes as the doctor spoke although deep down, there was a small part of him that took Gong’da’s words in. He sighed and shrugged his shoulders as he pondered whether he was too hard on his mother.
“Others fight in their own way. Not with swords and knives but with their brains. I had to fight against time and knowledge in order to save you. It took 14 hours of surgery to save you. I was at the end of my 12 hour shift when you arrived. So I had to fight sleep and fatigue as well. How does that rank up there with your views on being a warrior and bravery?”

Du’Ralle looked down at where he had been patched up and instinctively gave it a rub. “I suppose so…” he muttered, avoiding Gong’da’s gaze. He shifted uncomfortably and gritted his teeth as his still tender wound.
