Aaron had no clue why the CO contacted him for an urgent meeting, but he figured showing up in a grease-covered uniform that smelled like a Jefferies tube would probably not be a very good idea, so he stopped by his quarters for a quick sonic shower and change, before finding himself standing in front of the CO’s ready room pressing the chime.

Throughout the busy day that the commanding officer has had, Chris had requested the company of several of his officers. Hearing the chime go off he pondered to whom this one could be. Returning his chair observing the impeccably clean ready room following its deep clean Johnson spoke in a crisp polite manner the word “Enter”. Remaining silent Chris places 3 PaDDs onto the deck each spaced out next to each other.

Aaron stepped into the room, and swallowed hard when he saw the three PaDDs. Oh geez, what did I do? He thought, coming to attention. “Lieutenant Aaron Michaels reporting as requested.”

“Ahh, Lieutenant thank you for your swift arrival please come in and take a seat at my desk” the commanding officer spoke in a swift stern manner gesturing with his left hand for the officer to take a seat in the vacant chair adjacent to him. “Can I offer you a drink?” he went on to inquire.

Aaron nodded as he took a seat, “coffee’s fine. 2 cream 2 sugar.”

“Sounds good, now that I think of it I think I could do with a cup of coffee” spoke the commanding officer as he walked over to the replicator housed inside of the bulkhead located behind the captain’s desk. Once the CO had arrived at the replicator Chris tapped several buttons then began to speak. =^= two coffee’s, double cream and double sugar” spoke the captain in a polite articulate manner.

Once both beverages had replicated Johnson calmly picked up both beverages and walked over to the table and chairs located in the far side of the ready room placing them onto the table he began to speak to the current chief engineer. “Here you go,” he said pointing to the hot cup of caffeine. “thank you for coming once again I have called you here today in regards to the ship’s position of Executive officer. Sadly we have lost ours due to reasons I am not privileged to divulge” he went on to say.

“Yeah, I heard.” Aaron said, sipping at his coffee. “And this pertains to me?”
