Chris had never been a big fan of doctors especially when it meant he had to participate in his mandatory medical check-ins. Exiting his ready room Chris walked to the center of the bridge and stood still peering around both observing and identifying the multitude of officers who were currently conducting there assigned duties noticing that there were only junior officers present on the bridge at that time Chris walked to the helm station and began to communicate with Conn on duty “Mr Clarke you have the Conn I will be in sickbay if you need me. The Executive Officer will be on duty in 20 minutes trying not to crash the ship” he said giggling in the process. Having distributed command of the bridge to one of the officers. Johnson travelled along the back of the bridge and to the main turbolift stepping in he directed the computer to were he wished to be taken.

=^= Sickbay, Express Route =^= came to the clear and concise order from the ships commanding officer. Arriving at his location he stepped out. Waving to a number of crewmen on his way roughly 2 minutes later the Captain arrived at sickbay were he entered a large set of doors and peered around looking for a member of the ships Medical compliment. Seeing that no one was present the commanding officer spoke hoping that the CMO was nearby due to not meeting him yet. “Hello is anybody around im here for my sadly mandatory boarding medical.” having spoken Chris simply stood still and remained silent waiting to be approached by a member of the ships medical team.

Captain Christopher Johnson, CO

Gong’da was there. He was behind the reception desk since he gave the medical Petty Officer a 15 minute break. He was not in the chair but going through the drawers to see what supplies needed to be restocked at the desk.

“I’m here. And nothing about medical exams are sad. Only the people and beings that come in. ” He stepped from behind the desk to meet the Captain. Standing, Gong’da was shorter than the desk. He was a dwarf compared to other Ferengi which were already shorter then humans. Seeing the humans rank he bowed slightly.

“Afternoon Gong’da” he began by saying in a polite yet hesitant yet to locate the Chief Medical Officer. Having peered around the room Chris observed a large set of Ferengi lobes overhanging the reception desk. Moving closer towards the desk Johnson watched as the Ferengi searched through a set of doors recording key details. From what he could see the captain inferred that the CMO was, in fact, compiling an inventory of medical supplies.

“Greetings Captain. My name is Gong’da. I’ll be your attending physician today and I’m also your ship’s Chief Medical Officer. Please have a seat on the bio bed over there so I may examine you. Give me a minute to get a tricorder.” He smiled at the Captain showing his razor sharp teeth and gestured to the bed.

Gong’da CMO

“A pleasure to meet you I guess you have settled in well and found your way around the place” he began by saying extending his hand to conduct a handshake a tradition among Humans. Following the CMO’s instructions, Chris walked over to the closest biobed and sat upon it remaining silent whilst Gong’da went to retrieve a medical tricorder.

Gong’da didn’t shake the hand. “Sorry Captain. I don’t like touching Hew-mons. Most of you are riddled with viruses, bacteria and diseases. And I just got her yesterday in fact. I am of a superior species, so that is why it looks like I’ve been here for some time. We adjust far more rapidly than your kind. ”

Remaining silent at the first the captain simply nodded then spoke a short simple sentance “I See”.

Still looking around here found one and came back. “Ah. Got one. ” He sat it down and took out a PaDD and typed something into it. Putting it away in his pocket he retrieved the tricorder and went over to the Captain. “Sorry. I made a note to have a case or holder made that will secure to the beds here so that there will always be a tricorder available. See Captain. Efficiency. “

“An efficient idea indeed” he began by saying followed by a smile on his face that would indicate that the captain liked the proposed idea.

Turning on the bio bed and the beds computer he began the scan. Turning on the tricorder he then scanned the Captain to see if the two match up.
(Did he find anything or are you completely healthy?)

Gong’da CMO

The results taken during the scan would come up as almost nominal. They would show that the Commanding Officer was in good health except a slight inflamation of the cerebral cortex (causing a headache).
