Emily stepped off the shuttle and onto the Constellation. She felt a bit of apprehension, this was the first assignment since she gradauted from the academy. The last four weeks had been spent working at Star Fleet Corp of Engineers. She was excited about her first assignment, she headed to her quarters and then for main engineering and the CE. She stopped outside the CE’s door and rang the chime.

Bradford

Aaron had just gotten aboard himself, and was reading over personnel files when he heard the chime “come!” He called, closing what he was doing on his PADD.

Emily stepped through the door “Ensign Emily Bradford reporting for duty.” She said handing over her transfer padd to the Chief Engineer.

Bradford

Aaron took the padd and glanced at it, confirming she was, in fact, assigned to the ship. “Welcome aboard, Ensign.” He said, “how’d you find the transport over?”

“Uneventful.” She said “I’m just glad that I’m here and can actually get to work.” She said
