Ashley had been aboard the ship for a number of days and had finely managed to get her things unpacked and the way she liked it. Her next job was to have her medical. She really hated this part. She had spent far to much time in one medical centre or another. However regs are regs and as an ex-marine she was not going to let things slip now.

She left her quarters and make her way towards sick bay deciding to walk the long way around so she could explore the ship a bit more. She was in no rush which was a good things as she couldn’t walk very fast with her walking stick.

As she walked into sickbay she took a look around at the bio-beds and waited to be invited in.

Ashley (CNS)

“Ah, counsellor, I’d been wonderring when you were going to drop in,” came the bright voice of a young red-haired doctor, “I was preparing a search party.”

Ashley gave a smile. Then held up her walking stick. “Why do they have to make this ship so dam big? I’m sure I walked through 3 time zones to get here.”

Ashley (CNS)

“Just be glad that our digs are better than those given to the marine corps,” Harry replied, “Please take a seat.”

“How have your cybernetics been reacting to being onboard?” the doctor asked.

As Harry waited for the counsellor to answer he looked at his padd on which he had logged onto the medical admin portal for Ashley’s interface. One of the settings intrigued him. It was a slider bar with the label ‘attitude’ and a scale that ranged from ‘Angry Scot With Tourrettes’ to ‘Loyal As A Puppy’. He considerred moving the toggle to one of these extremes from it’s current location near the middle…

OOC: Ashley’s cybernetics are replacement for her lower back and and leg, it is not wired into her brain and as no mood settings. However I am willing to play along with your post above.

IC: Ashley sat back on the bio bed and relaxed back. “They have been fine. A little discomfort but nothing out of the normal.”

“Cybernetics with no vocal or emotional outlets connected often show a negative attitude by stimulating pain receptors,” Harry replied and moved the slider so that it was nearer to ‘Loyal As A Puppy’ than it was before. “I’ve tweaked a setting that should help with that. Do let me know if your leg feels like it wants to sleep a lot.”

“Other than that, how are you in yourself?” he asked.

OOC: There we go, a nice ‘comedy ship’ explanation as to why Ashley’s cybernetics would have a setting one wouldn’t expect :)
