“Yes commander of course. So 0900 hours my office to get everything taken care of. I’ll get a list of science officers and I’ll let you help me figure it all out and all the project reports and everything.” He said to the commander as he knew that it was the best way ever.

Lt. Slayer

The next morning, promptly at 0900 Atoded and her 2 huskies appeared outside the CSO office in the science labs on deck 13 and pressed the chime.
Atoded, 2O

The Lt. Then heard the chime go off and he then said “Enter,” as he knew that it was the Lt Cmdr coming to help him out with his things. “Hello Cmdr. Is there anything you’d like me to get for you? Like something to drink? Water, tea?” The Lt. Asked Atoded. He knows that getting the extra help with it. It’ll go through a lot more quickly.

Lt. Slayer

Atoded entered the office and took a seat. With a small flick of her wrist the two huskies laid down on either side of the door out of the way of any movement or visitors Slayer may have. “Just water, thank you. So tell me what exactly it is you want to accomplish by adjusting the schedule?”

Atoded, 2O

He walks up to the replicator and asked for a water. Water was created and a earl grey tea was made. Slayer then hands her the water. “Well the issue is my people aren’t even doing anything and they are bored. They are sleeping on the job and I’m worried that they aren’t interested in doing their work.” He said to Atoded.

Lt. Slayer

“Thank you, Lt.” she took the water, sipped it and then set it down on the desk next to her. Atoded nodded acknowledging she heard Slayer but didn’t speak for a moment. “Lt. have you given them anything to do? You do realize it is your job to provide work. Though Cpt. Ch’otok encourages all officers to pursue projects of personal interest to them, it is your job to ensure they have work to do. If nothing in their specific area of expertise is available, they should be assigned to projects in their secondary fields. That’s part of your job as the Chief Science Officer. To assign work so they don’t get bored.”

“Well that’s the thing. There’s really nothing that I can assign them. But I mean I have their assignments and everything, but knowing them they might not do it sometimes. Or they will think hey this work is boring I’m gonna take the day off or something like that. But you know. They work in the science labs. I don’t know how many science labs we have but they all work in there. Um also times and schedules I would also like to get help with that. I don’t know if you can but could you also give me some ideas of projects I could give them as well.” The Lt said to the commander.

OOC: So there is a way to know what type of labs and how many there are. This is listed on the ship specs. There is a link to this on the Constellation MOTD. On the side menu find “Command and Support Systems, and then ‘Science Labs’. This will tell you about location and general equipment. So main labs are deck 13-15 and also deck 26. So then using the side menu again click on Deck 13, 14, 15, and 26 and that will tell you the types of labs we have on board.

Look at the type of labs, and then make up some assignment for them. It does not need to be related to the sim, just make up something. Add it here and then we can make up assignments for any you couldn’t think of.
