Andromeda sat down with a sigh as the door to her office slid closed. She’d been organizing schedules all-day, and she was finally on to the last item on her list: mandatory physicals. “If I have to chase each and every one of them down, I swear I’ll…” Her sentence trailed off into irritated muttering as she drafted a full crew message. “Report to sickbay for your mandatory physical within the next three weeks.” She read aloud. “Perfect. If I have to hunt them down after that it’s their own fault.” She sent the message out, pausing for a moment to add her signature.

Dum and Dee made their way into Sickbay for their mandated and requested boarding physicals. They looked around sickbay and made sure they were out of the way of the main thoroughfare in sickbay.

They didn’t think that it was necessary for them to announce who they were as they knew there were no other amorphous blobs on the Constellation and very few, if any, others in Starfleet.

Andromeda looked up when she heard a knock on her office door, quickly followed by a nurse announcing the first patients had arrived. She stood up with a grin and walked past the nurse to where the siblings were. “Hi. I’m Doctor Andromeda DeLion. Nice to meet you both. I assume you’re here for physicals?” She’d leave how to address her in their hands. People tended to default to what they were comfortable with after all.

“We are, Doctor,” Dee said and began removing its uniform.

“Have you run physicals on blobs before, Doctor?” asked Dum, following the example of its fellow blob.

Both had started on their tops and were now undoing the clothing that was covering the lower part of their bodies.

Andromeda grinned. “Never in my life. I have some notes from the former CMO, but this is a new life experience for me.” She waved towards the biobeds. “They aren’t very complete notes either, so y’all get to tell me what to do here.” She was a firm believer that no one knew a body better than the person to whom it belonged.
