On the bridge the turbo lift opened as Kiwa exited having received a cryptic message to report to the bridge. Kiwa could see the XO sitting in the Captains chair. A ensign stated aloud “XO a priority communication is coming on screen right now, I can’t stop it.” On the screen appeared Admiral Odora Fedel. Commander of Star Fleet Appointments. The screen had simply popped on as though no one could control it.

The admiral spoke in a deep voice for a female “Commander is your Chief Engineer on the bridge yet, I don’t have all day”

After being quiet for a while until the XO was probably uncomfortable, Rujo Kiwa took pity on the Commander and said, “Yes, Admiral, I am. Are you assigning us some new Engineers? I was supposed to be fixing the malfunctioning EMH in the main sickbay when I got called to the bridge. Why have I been called to the bridge, Sir?”
