Dum and Dee Tweedle entered sickbay and looked for someone to do their physicals. Slender and transparent Dee and rotund and opaque Dum were used to the stares and comments, and while they had previously found them rude and upsetting, they had come to accept both as part of the job.

“Remember to double check the turbolift system when we return to main engineering, Dee” Dum said, “I felt a slight shudder in the system on our way here.”

“Indeed I will,” Dee said, “and you should check …”
