Luna having heard the call for security entered the cargo bay her phaser in her hand. As she spoted Reira her eyes went wide with supersize. “Reira what happened she asked punting her phazer away. She quicky moved to his side. she glared up at the CIO. “what is wrong with you he is one of are own” Luna snapped. the ensign clearly not in the mood to deal with peater or the other security officers. It was also very clear that Reira Akaba was in her circle of well trusted friend.

Peter frowned at her calling but didn’t say anything, he was in no mood to correct her misconception of current events.

The security officers know very well not to meas with Luna and took a few steps back. “You will leave Reira alone” Luna challenged. She very effectively made it clear she was no going to back down or drop this one. she turned her attention to Reira. ” Did you dad get a hold of you again in he on his way here. Will we need to get the ship redy to face him again ” Luna asked. Luna was not stupid and she know full well what Reira’s father was capable of. after all the man had kidnaped both of them from the Viking almost three years ago.

“I can stand…” Reira stated as he slowly but clumsily rose to his feet though doing so was hard, his right leg shook as if on the verge of collapse. Taking several hesitant steps forward, he began limping to Sickbay slowly, trying to ignore the stabbing pain in his thighs as the shards of glass dug in and his breathing became harder from the strain. “Luna, it’s okay… They wouldn’t recognize me and it’s understandable they’d be nervous.” He added, knowing what his appearance and technology tended to do to people before collapsing into the bulkhead in the corridor, his leg having finally given out completely. “Leo did try to get a hold of me, I’m not surprised he’s still kicking, but he isn’t coming here. I made sure of it.” He reassured the winged security Ensign before looking up at Harrison. “I’m a lot lighter than I look and I’d rather not risk the transporters, the computer has a tendency to taunt people.” Reira stated. Being carried wasn’t his idea of fun but it was apparent he couldn’t walk any further and the blood loss was making him somewhat dizzy.

Ensign Reira Akaba (Science)

“It’s ok Reira, Cerenity will be happy that you are you are back” Luna said calmly as she naelt down and picked Reira up. She know better then to make a fuss over him. Though she was worried she would not show it now. “ you’ll be ok” she said.

Then looked to David. “Lead they way doctor” Luna said. She waghted patently to follow him.
Ensign Luna

Peter waved the other Security officers to him and whispered a few orders, two took positions monitoring and guarding the shuttlecraft, the other two moved out of the shuttlebay “Luna, could you give me a word before you go to Sickbay, The Doctor can take care of him” He spoke softly but with clear directive in his tone.

CIO

“We’ll meet you in Sickbay,” the doctor said, moving over to Akaba and sliding his arm around behind Akabas back until he was half supporting him. Now closer Reira would be able to tell that the doctor was stonger than he initially appeared to be. “I’ll help you walk out of here to keep your dignity,” he whispered, “Then I’ll carry you to Sickbay. Most of the corridors should be empty.”

Luna nodded and watched as Riera and the Doctor left. She turned to Peter With a look concern on her face. “ we need to get the ship redy for a fight. I think Reid’s dad may make an appearance.” She said. Now that Riera was gone her damneder had changed. It was clear that her actions work protective. She was protective of the crew and the ship but it was clear that she had an close circle of friends that she would go to great lengths to protect.

Peter frowned “We’ll get to that, for now, we need to have a discussion about your attitude and treatment of fellow officers” He said in the same calm tone as before ” So far I haven’t had an issue with how you behave when we have new arrivals, usually I’d say you have a healthy amount of skepticism but this right now was unacceptable.” He placed his hands on his hips “You came into a situation without knowing what was going on, assumed the worst and challenged not just your fellow Security officers but a superior” He raised his hands “I know you don’t have the best view on the upper echelons but you should at least be able to trust your crewmates” He lowered his hands “We were giving him medical attention and about to move him to sickbay when you arrived, I only asked for his sidearm” He showed her the strange alien pistol “Because that’s the protocol. We haven’t seen him in a year, not since the Vaila Mission.” Peter sighed, he knew how the woman felt and in the years since he’d returned he’d learned much about how she functioned which was why he was speaking to her and not reprimanding her as he would most others, the fact that he wasn’t her direct superior also helped “Look just keep in mind that we’re all on the same boat, literally, and we or at least I am not your enemy”

Luna Lisoned quietly to Peter as he spoke. ” Your right, I’m sorry Sir.” she said quietly she did not relay know what else to say to the man. Her only thoughts where that this ship may have gotten to her. she droped her gaze wondering if she were cousing the danger that she so despretly wanted to protect eveyone from.

Peter nodded, accepting her apology “Alright then, make your way to Sickbay, keep an eye on your friend, he looks like someone who could use a friendly face right about now. I’ll go to the bridge and prepare us for potential incoming and inform the Captain.” He gave the winged woman a half-smile “Good luck”

Luna nodded then her eyes went wide. “ Cerenity I’ll have to find her first” Luna said. She had no way of knowing if Leo know about the child or not. But if he did she could be a target especially if he was still working with that scientists.
Ensign Luna

Kristi had raised the shields around the enhanced shuttle, then moved around the ship visually inspecting as well as running the tricorder over it in hopes that everything was shut down and idle.

Once completing outside, she would move inside to be sure no structural forcefield, active or passive, was keeping her from reading things.
