Lt. Sharvi took the dermal re-generator and applied it to the ensign’s wound. After a few minutes it was sealed up. “There you go, you are all better now. Not the greatest patient I’ve had in here, but I like your spirit to getting back to work. As a Klingon, when I was in security, I hated being here as a patient.” He told her. “But, before you leave, I noticed you saw how Nakuto was acting on the shuttle on the way back as well. I was planning on attempting to talk to her, and see if my services would help.” he told her, not knowing about the conversation she had with LT. Stone.

Kristi frowned. “I haven’t known her well enough to know what ‘normal’ is. But I can tell you she appeared to be withdrawn and almost in shock most of the trip after the storm began. It’s why I piloted the shuttle. I don’t know, but I think, now that me doing that is what upset her. I don’t know.” She glanced at Mike. “I swear. If that’s what upset her, I didn’t know. The storm was coming. I panicked and was already doing preflights so I just took us out of there when someone in the back yelled ‘Go’.” She wasn’t sure, but it would trouble her to no end if she was the reason Kara was upset.

“Well you did the right thing. The shuttle and everyone on board are safely back on the Viking.” Mike said. Though just how safe they actually were was another matter. Many simply disappeared or got unusual injuries some even died. Teleportation itself was like playing a Russian roulette.

“If Nakuto’s ego was hurt in the process, that’s the least of our worries. She’ll get over it, so don’t take it too personal.”

Kristi waited till the Doc cleared her and joined Mike as they headed where he needed her help. “Maybe I can find Nakuto later and apologize. I just don’t want the angst between us if we’re gonna be together on this ship for years.” She laughed and followed Mike. “Anything else going on right now I need to know about? And where are we going, anyway?” She laughed realizing she had no clue what had happened while she was gone.

Mike nodded and said thanks to Lt. Sharvi as well. As they walked with Kristi he replied “Well you said you wanted to take a shower, so I thought I’d escort you to your quarters. After that if you feel like it, you can join us in the hangar room. We’re low on shuttles as it is. So we need to check Naglfar that it doesn’t have any ‘leaks’. “
He was still holding onto her toolbox, so he added. ” Um, I can carry your tools there already or leave them in engineering....”

Realizing the tool box she reached out for it, her cheeks blushing. “Sorry, I can take it. And yes, I need a shower. I can meet you in the hanger if you want. Or you’re welcome to come to my quarters and get a drink. I won’t be a moment.” She smiled and nodded towards her quarters.
