Kristi arrived in medical with Stone’s name on her lips. “…one?” She looked around in concern. It wasn’t that bad, she thought to herself as her hand went up to the gash on the back of the left side of her head. Her hand came away slightly bloody. It was already starting to coagulate and dry along the edges and her hair was matted where she had been shifting it unconsciously.

“I guess I need to be seen,” she said as a nurse looked her way. “Orders of my Chief.” The last came out a bit bitter.

OOC: The wound doesn’t have to be nasty because of me. But since you stumbled a bit in the shuttle, and appeared as having weak legs, Stone was worried it’s more then just a little bump. Of course to him, priority would be Kristi’s well being. And no, he won’t beam in a team of medics any time she get’s a little cut or a bruise. But if he thinks it could be serious, he will.

Lt. Sharvi was rotating between the patients from the planet making sure they were stable. Once he had them all stabilized, he went to the engineer, “I’m sorry, Kristi, I didn’t realize you had gotten injured on our trip.” He stated to her as he looked at the wound. He ran a bio scanner over the wound. “It’s not too bad, a little bit of time with the dermal re-generator and you should be back on your feet.” The Klingon doctor informed her.

She shook her head, though stopped after two shakes. “I’m fine. Just a headache. I don’t care about the scar. Can you just seal it up so I can take a shower?” She wasn’t a good patient.

About two minutes later Mike arrived. He was carrying Kristi’s toolbox.

“How is she?” He asked the doctor. “You looked really weak in the shuttle. I got very worried.” He explained himself.

“But I brought your toolbox, if the doc says you’re fit for work, I’ll accept that even if I’d rather see you take a day off.”

Kristi pointed to the Doc and raised her voice just enough so he would hear. “He said it was fine. I apparently need the regen for a bit, but I just want it sealed so I can shower, then I can get back to work.” She hoped the Doc would come back and just clear her.

She then lowered her voice slightly for his ears only. “I’m ok, Mike. I promise. I just… I was worried about Nakuto. She was so quiet when the storm started, I just took control to get us out of there. I had already been running the preflight. She never said anything so I thought it was ok. I didn’t know I was doing something wrong. I swear it.” She was upset over possibly insulting the woman she had been sitting next to.

“And I got worried about you.” He embraced her gently for a moment, then let go. ” Don’t worry about Nakuto. She might seem scary sometimes but she’s an ok person. Though since she came back, she definitely changed. Much more reserved then she was before. Where ever she was, it was no picnic for sure,” shaking his head slightly he continued ” I’ll keep my word. As soon as you’re released form sickbay, you can return to duty.”
