The lift opened to deck 13. She had spent several nights down here trying to make it more like home. It would be the best place to receive the away team and the children. She would wait for the counsellor to arrive before initiating the transport.

Ravenfall, CO

The Counselor was quick to join the Captain on deck thirteen, following only a few minutes prior to the Captain. She knew that it was best not to waste time, so she came as quick as she could. Stepping from the lift, she allowed her gaze to scour the area before noting Ravenfall, moving to join her. “Captain,” Tal inclined her head to the opposing, superior officer, offering an amicable smile.

Viktoryia nodded to the counselor as she entered the deck “The away team will be returning to the ship Soon, and they will be bringing the children with them. We need to be ready with a meal and somewhere for them to feel safe.”

“Understood. Do you want anything else brought besides food? Something that might make them feel more comfortable? Blankets, perhaps?” Tal wasn’t certain where they were coming from, so she was just throwing out suggestions.

She looked around the deck. It was one of the few places on the ship that she had tried to make more like home. To reminder her of the only family that she had back on the Curie. She looked back over to the counselor “while I’m working with the transporter room I want you to go to the galley and bring back food for the children”

“Aye,” Tal wore a faint smile, nodding to the Captain. Giving a wave, she turned and left the area, heading to retrieve food for the children.

As creepy and silent as ever, Stein seemingly appeared next to Viktorya. “Ma’am. I heard you requested someone from medical be present,” he intones in his horse, but soft voice, already fumbling with his medical bag, running a thumb over the handle. “What sorts of injuries are you expecting? Burns? Dismemberment? Myocardial Infarction?”

“we are expecting children. Injuries are unknown at this time. Dr, Once they arrive I want you to quickly make sure they are not in need of medical attention.”

She then tapped her comm badge opening a channel to the transporter room =/\=Ravenfall to the transporter room=/\=

Over the open link you could hear his resistance for just a moment before the blue swirl of the transporter beam appeared in front of her. As part of her team appeared around her she let out the breath she had been holding. She glanced around making sure everyone was in one piece “doctor ” was all she said as she began to make her own assessment.

The first group of children beamed up sucessfully acompanied by an NE Doctor . It was only a short time before the second group appeared. This group was accompanied by the XO, meaning that the third and final group, when they arrived would be accompanied by the rest of the away team.

Once released from the transporter beam, nevin crouched infront of his group and spoke gently. “We’re safe now, I have to speak with the Captain, but these men will look after you,” He indicated to the medical staff that were nearby…
