“Who do we have up next then?” a cheerful compare asked, looking around the room. “You! You’re up, what are you going to be singing for us?” he asked enthusiastically as he pointed to the Intel officer who had just appeared in the corner of what appeared to be a 21st century drinking establishment. The compare made his way over and pulled the Intel officer towards the makeshift stage. “A bit of Klingon opera?” the compare teased then shook his head. “Nah, doesn’t really seem like your style kid, perhaps something a bit tamer? Maybe a Vulcan Aria?” he proposed.

Mother Hen

The Betaszoid officer looked around the room in extreme confusion “Uhm I’m not certain that I” She tensed up “Excuse me, I need to make a call” She took a step away from the small stage.

NE Rivera

The compare frowned and tried to beckon Rivera back to the makeshift stage. “Just one number?!” he pleaded as he looked around the unimpressed crowd.

Mother Hen

“No thank you” She said firmly “I was supposed to beam down with my Captain, where am I exactly? Is this a part of the main colony Complex?” She asked seemingly forgetting her plans to make a call.

NE Rivera

The compare gave her a confused look and shook his head. “Why, this is Sam’s Bar & Grill in Chicago, where did you think you were?” he asked, baffled as to where the woman thought she was, or indeed why she was wearing such strange clothing. On the table next to them was a newspaper from 1993. As the young Intel officer began to wonder if she had somehow time travelled to 20th century earth, they were interrupted by Akorem’s signal.
