Stone barely had time to register where he was before plunging into the swimming pool in the recreation centre. A somewhat overeager lifeguard launched himself into the pool and quickly pulled the engineer back up to the surface as a baffled young couple gawped at the sight before their eyes.

Mother Hen

Coughing up water, Stone finally managed to ask: “Where the hell am I… and where are the rest of my crewmembers?”
Then his eyes went wide… “My gear!!!!”

He let go of the toolbox he was carrying earlier, and could now see it on the bottom of the pool.
