Although he managed to hide any obvious physical reactions he couldn’t stop his heart from practically skipping a beat at the sight of the liberated Borg. IC: The XO was not present on the bridge at the time so not privvy to the conversations in realtime. When the CO had first come aboard, Nevin had engaged in a discreet conversation with the CO in a turbolift. In that conversation he had raised concerns regarding previous incidents on the ship and also regarding John McHarrie, the Viking’s former CMO. He had speculated due to complete blanks in the ships autonomic log that Section 31 had an interest in the Viking and her activities, but their ‘cover up’ had been incomplete. As such he suspected either that one or more Section 31 Operatives were still onboard or would be coming onboard to complete the work. Someone who was particularly good with computers, mathematics and who would likely be placed in a position where direct access to the computer core would not arouse suspicion. Had this agent just blown their cover on the bridge?..

The comm chirped. =/\=Akorem to Viking. We’re begining to make preparations to beam the team and the survivors up. The children here are vulnerable so somewhere less clinical, and more homely would be helpful. Please liaise with the counsellor for somewhere suitable and contact the galley.
