Once Ravenfall & Nevin were in her ready room and he had heard the hiss of the door closing behind him giving them privacy from the bridge officers Nevin started speaking immediately.

“What’s going on?” Nevin asked bluntly, “First of all it takes you that long to report to the bridge we start preparing a search party and then you freeze. I would be negligent in my duties if I didn’t ask. Is there is a problem?”

Viktoryia paused a moment then turned to face her first officer. “I’ve been having flash backs to when I was on the science ship, and even before then. I’m not sure if it is being caused by the nebula it’s self, or if its my fear of what we will find once we are there.”

She paused a moment the turned to look out at the nebula “Over the past week I have had to doubled up on my intake of nutrients, as well as begain an extreme physical workout which I was in the middle of when you called for me.”

“This crew needs a captain. A leader,” Nevin said, “If you appear to freeze up, they will look to me and I can only provide so much cover.”

Kaylia was actually about on Akorem’s heels in a manner. She wanted to know what the hell was up as well. Pushing the chime to the Ready room. Tapping her foot impatiently. “Any time now…”

Despite his instincts to tell whoever was at the door so soon that now wasn’t good time, this was not his office and Nevin respected that even in the times he had been in command.

“It’#s no secret that Fleet command do not think I am ready for a command of my own, but I have proven myself capable and will assume command I believe your hestiancy puts the crew at risk,” Nevin said, “I pray to The Prophets that you do not give me cause to relieve you.”

“I can assure you commander that you will not have to do that! I’m taking ever precaution to keep that from happening.” She growled as The engineer rang the chime.

“Now we’ve got a ship to run let’s not keep the crew waiting any longer!” She said as she turned on her heels and started toward the door. Before she took her leave she turned to Nevin “and for the record commander you’ll do great in a command of your own!”

Nevin appreciated Ravenfall’s confidence in him. The day for his own command would come if command could see his abilities. His father, on the other hand had been proud of Nevin becoming a doctor and CMO, but had openly questioned Nevin about if he had the time to be an officer and a parent at the same time, and had urged him to wait until Antos was a little older.

“Thank you, Captain,” he said appreciatively,” as he followed her to the exit that led back to the bridge.

Kaylia was still waiting, and waiting....tapping her foot and looking at the non-exsistant chronometer on her wrist. Looking up when she heard shuffles on the other side of the doors. Which were coming her way. Okay. Stepping out of the way before Akorem ran right into her. “Viktoryi....Captain could I have a…” Looking as she was just walked right by. “Or....not a moment.” Giving a snort and turning around to head back to the turbolift.
