Lance was at the helm of a new shuttle craft for the USS.Viking. For 4 days at warp 5 made the trip there a little Easyer then a 6 week trip. As his took the shuttle out of warp he saw the Viking. By the looks of things they have seen better days the ship looked Damaged. He opened comms

Ensign Lance Von Hellsing (Helm)

A weary Ensign Poe sat, alone and afraid, in the control booth of the Viking’s echoing shuttle bay. Sipping eagerly at a raktajino espresso, the young man found himself wondering how long it had been since he last slept. 24 hours? More? These double-shifts were always a killer and, with the nature of Poe’s role being what it was, usually spent alone. Gods, he hated this ship!

His thoughts were interrupted suddenly by the comms from the approaching shuttle craft. Incoming crew? He had not been told to expect any new arrivals. Still, the Viking’s relationship with Starfleet could be considered professionally amicable at best. Or perhaps a visitor? Although why anyone would want to visit this dilapidated bucket of bolts was beyond him. Still, the shuttle had requested a response and it was his job to deliver, no matter how unsettled he might sound.
