Me’l had just gotten into check in with security she walked up to the door, and buzzed her in. As she waited she called Lt Darz this is Ens Me’lonna

Security OfficerThe young woman before her was one she hadn’t had a chance to completely sit down with yet. The woman had been cleared and set on the duty roster, but that was about all. “Come on in, Ensign. I’m Kalika Darz, you can call me Darz, though be sure you use rank if anyone else is around.” She smiled and motioned to the other seat in her small office. “It’s good to finally officially welcome you about our little ‘treasure’. Are you settling in all right?” The term of endearment she used for the half functioning, nightmare of a ship, was almost tongue in cheek. The treasure was more of a sunken treasure, stuck in the blackness of space instead of the blackness of an ocean floor. Like a ship scuttled and sunk, the Viking just didn’t know it had been scuttled, yet. And therefore, it kept trudging along.

CoSMe’l walked in and nodded. “Yes Darz ma’am.” she said as me’l stood through the meeting . “I’m settling fine ma’am.” she gave the Security chief a small smile while at
attention.

Security OfficerKalika smiled, “Relax and sit down, Ensign. We are in the bowels of the ship in a brig that barely contains much besides an ocassional ghost, on a ship that is either broken or haunted,” she laughed slightly and motioned to the only other chair in the near closet of a room. The room barely held the desk and chair on either side of it, Kalika currently occupying the one behind the desk. On the wall was a schematic of the ship. It was on a writable board instead of a view board. The board was marked up with the colors of markers that sat in a tray below it. More than a quarter of the ship was marked as ‘off limits’ due to atmospheric, gravity, and lighting issues. Nearly another quarter of the ship was marked as ‘troubled’ due to periodic outages and anomalies.
Outside the small office were the six brig cells. One was taped off as ‘off limits’.

CoSMe’l was sitting with her security chief, then decided to stand her rear end was bothering her. “So are the Brigs Haunted ma’am?” Me’l asked as she was looking at the
her Security chief. Me’l was curious whats with all the markings about..
Kalika nodded. “There is one. Cell 3. The force field will occasionally set itself and a figure appears inside the cell. If you turn off the force field, the figure disappears. Otherwise it lasts from a couple hours to a couple days.” She shrugged slightly. “Half the ship has that problem. I just tell new crewmen, and the regulars when they encounter them, just ignore them. Not much you can do otherwise, except leave the area and hope they don’t follow.”
