“General Martok has taken to driving people towards Starfleet?” Nakuto laughed, incredulously. “I would have expected our Chancellor to wish for sons and daughters of Qo’nos to fight in his own forces. Perhaps old age is softening his temperament somewhat?”

Luna could not help but giggle “well guess not everyone in this ship has pissed of Star fleet. I was originally asined her because someone was not happy I made it through the academy. They tryed saying I could not join because I was not considered humanoid do to my wing. Then I find out an admiral in Star fleet was responsible for my creation ant torment. I learn this mind you after he kidnaps myself and his sun how he turned into a borg from this ship. Kara here has also gotten on Star fleets bad side to” Luna said with a smile.

“I think my father thinks I will be protected on a ship like this. The House of Sharvi, nor the Great house of Martok must not be dishonored, and what could I do on a ship like this?” He responded. “I’m sorry that happened to you. Some people can just be so cruel. I read a book once about this human who spent his life work bringing another human back to life. He eventually does it, just to regret doing so, and then tries to kill it again. Boon was called “Frankenstein.” Interesting read.” Ensign Sharvi responded.

OOC: sorry, phone went crazy and I hit the wrong button. So I edited to add what was missing.

The half-Klingon shook her head, a heavy sigh emanating from her throat.
“Martok’s forces can do nothing to protect you here, Ensign,” she cautioned Sharvi. “Here we battle with the denizens of Gre’thor itself. I would advise you to draw on your own courage and not seek protection from those who could not possibly understand the things we contend with here.”

Was the Klingon aware of the true nature of the USS Viking? Or did he remain bound to the mistaken belief that this posting would be like any other. Had he yet seen the shadows that lurked in dark corners? Had he heard the whispers that stole the very silence from the air?

“You do understand the nature of your posting here, do you not?” she enquired. “That this ship flies under a curse fashioned as if by Fek’lhr’s own hands?”

OOC: Pasting Luna back in…

“Yes people can be horrible, but If I had not been born you and I would never have met and none of us would have the chance to meat this angel” luna said with a smile. “ my wings may be a curse but there are some good things about them to” Luna said.
Ensign Luna

The Klingon ensign gave a mean stare to the half klingon behind the bar, he caught himself before he said outloud, “My father has not softened!” He composed himself, and instead replied, “Martok has been influenced a lot by Worf as of late. But be it as it may, for whatever purposes, I was assigned to this ship, and I will serve honorably aboard this ship. I do not need any protection.” He downed his bloodwine and slammed the cup harder than he meant to on the counter. “I apologize.” He immediately said.

Crenity woke with a start. The child quietly began to cry picking up that Ensign Sharvi was unhappy. Luna bit back the urge to yeal at at both him and Kara it was not there fault. There was now way for them to know how difficult the child was. Reluctantly hoping it would help her calm down she downed her own glass of bloodwine. The rocked the child and humming a soft lullaby hoping to get her back to sleep. Crenity was not having it “ Daddy “ she wimpiered. This anoyed and frustrating Luna a little bit.

“She is stubborn,” Kara commented, nodding towards the crying child in Luna’s arms. “Like her father.”
She seemed to consider various options for a moment before suggesting, “Perhaps she is hungry? I could make her a hot chocolate to soothe her back to sleep.”

The warm drink made, Kara offered it out to Luna and then turned her attention back to the fiery Klingon.

“Calm yourself, my friend,” she cautioned Sharvi. “I was in no way questioning your courage or doubting your strength. But I am more familiar than most with the horrors of the USS Viking. I have journeyed deep into the blackened heart of this ship and faced more torments than could ever be sung of, be it a celebration or a lament.”

Another generous measure of bloodwine was offered all round before Nakuto continued.

“Luna here can confirm my tale. It is no fiction and these monsters that haunt us no idle daydream. They are real. All too real. I only wish for you to be prepared for the things you are about to face.”
