Ensign Sharvi walked down the corridor to the security office. The klingon wore a baldric with the House of Martok insignia on it over top of his yellow security starfleet uniform. He walked through the door that said security. The room had many monitors displaying many sections and rooms of the whole ship. He walked around a couple consoles till he found the door that led to Lt. Kalika Darz’s office. He was undecisive if he trusted the technology to alert the Lieutenant of his presence, so he knocked forceably on the door.

Ensign Luna rounds a corner an nearly ran into the Klingon. She leaped back startled opening her wight and black spited wings slightly. “ how are you” the ensign said instinctively reaching for her fazer she was not shure if he was new or one of the goats of the ship. “ if your looking for the chife of sacurity your in the wrong place her office is in the brige” she added watching the Klingon carfuly.

Taken aback, Ensign Sharvi takes a step back to maintain his balance.
“heck nuq?” he said, confused look on his face. Realizing he was speaking in klingon, he made sure to talking English to her.
“I am fine. I am Ensign Tath’ihl from the House of Sharvi. How are you?” He asked her. Then continued after a breath.”Yes, I am new to the security department and am looking for the Lieutenant to check in. Curious, if her office is on the bridge, why is her name on this door?”

Now it was Luna’s turn to look confused. She most have miss spoke. Not a sapris there between the ship, return of Loki her sagnifacit other and her doughter the ensign did not get much sleep. She shook her head “ I think I miss spoke. I’m Ensign Luna and her office is in the brig not the bridge unless of course she moved it back up her. This ship will play tricks on you” Luna said she relaxed and folded her wings closer to her back once again. “ anyway I can show you where the Brig is if you want” Luna said calmly.

“You mean that room there with the cells directly behind you?” He asked her, confused on how she didn’t know where she was on a ship. He expected this from a human, but he wasn’t even sure he knew what species she was, he had never seen wings like that before.
“I’m pretty sure the door with the Lieutenant’s name on it is where I need to be, thank you for your assistance, though.” He had been lost on the ship enough, following another Ensign who didn’t seem sure of where she was, was not an enticing idea to him.

Luna blinked then turned and looked behind her. “ oh we are in the brig right, sh-Sharvi was it. I’m sorry. I’ll just go ahead and be honest with you I don’t even know what day it is. That tends to happen when you have a two year old that can fly. Do you have children?” Luna asked. She clear felt imbaresed about the situation and wanted to apologize. However she also did not want him to think she was incompetent because she was not. She was just having an off day.

“No, I do not have kids. But they sure can be a handful.” He told her. “You looked like you were in a hurry to be going somewhere important, I don’t want to keep you, if it is important.” He said, remembering how speedily she was walking before she ran into him.

Luna’s eyes went wide.” Right Crenity appointment with the consuler. Thank you have a nice day ” she said. The hurried to put her phaser up as she had just gotten off shift. Then left the are presumably to take care of her child.

Ensign Sharvi stood at the door a few more minutes, before knocking again…

Kalika came around the corner and saw Luna scooting off around the far corner. Shrugging and figuring the woman would comm her if something was important, she turned into the brig and came up short at someone knocking on her door. “Can I help you?” The half Orion looked at the back of the person at her door. She knew there was a new crewman on board but she hadn’t expected him to show up at the start of the shift. Things were so hectic she had actually figured he would show up later.

“I’m guessing you are looking for the Security Chief?” She smiled and moved up to him and yet kept her distance as well. The crew had gotten to know her and knew she didn’t misuse her Orion pheromones all willy nilly. But some folks didn’t think that. And till she knew which this one was, she didn’t want to invade his space and upset him before he even finished his check in.

If he had done any homework on his new DH, he would know she was half Orion, her chemical abilities didn’t constant follow her like full bloods. She had never been taken to task for them and never abused them. Her office was in the brig and the brig was one of the places where ‘anomalous’ things happened. Namely, there was a cell that alternated between empty and lit, to powered up with its force field, the lights would flicker and an ‘entity’ seemed to occupy the space. Cell 2 was off limits because of the behavior, like lots of places on the ship. His indoc info to the ship would be sadly lacking unless he had looked anything up once here. On board info would include several decks and spaces marked as ‘off limits’ due to inconsistent lights, atmosphere and gravity issues. While the brig was one of the places listed as ‘partially unstable’, the Chief of Security still maintained an office here.
