I’m proud to announce the promotion of Jason Wolfe from Lt Commander to full Commander.

Jason has demonstrated amazing leadership skills since joining the club a couple yrs ago. He has always been one to step up and post extra as either his char or NEs to keep threads going. And most recently, as XO of the Viking, he has stepped up further. He assisted with the help needed to return the ship to a healthy status. And even stepped up at the loss of their GM to take over the Sim and run it while possible ‘self sim’ discussions were being held. And he has no STF GM training.

He has continued to show leadership in reminding and keeping (most) AWOL and LOAs in check and under control. He continues to create NEs, threads and activities to be sure every department and person has a voice, a place to post, and a creative stake in the process. He even went so far as to adjust this sim because a JO came up with a ‘possibility’ that he hadn’t considered, but thought would be an amazing solution.

I am hoping that the promotion not only shows he is appreciated and worthy, but that it encourages him to continue and grow in the spot he is in and consider his own position as a Captain some day (and maybe GM).
