The klingon Ensign had woken up late. He had barely slept and when he did, he was dreaming of the war, and the secrets he hid. “QIp cham” (dumb technology) he said throwing the clock on the nightside. He put on his uniform, and rushed out the door. He arrived at the Counselor’s office door with two minutes to spare before his scheduled appointment time.

Tal was expecting him, knowing there were a few new officers aboard the ship. Although, she was only focused that those she had direct appointments with at any given time. Rising her head, she checked the chronometer, allowing in whoever happened to be on the other side of that door. The incoming Ensign, she thought them possible to be, but would never dare assume.

Ensign Sharvi walked through the now open door.
“Ensign Tath’ihl of the House of Sharvi reporting for my appointment, Ma’am.” He hoped he didn’t sound annoyed. As a starfleet officer, he knew this was protocol, but as a klingon, he hated talking to people who tried to get in his head. He had to keep his secret intact.
