Devin found the securtiy offices and then walked in, she wasn’t sure how many others were actually going to be in the office right then. She wasn’t sure if she was going to be the shortest among them either but it didn’t matter, she knew what her strengths and weaknesses were and she knew what most assumed. That was their mistake. She stood at ease waiting to chime in when an opening provided itself.

Devin Ward, Security officer (brat cat, eccentric)

Eldorin was sitting in his old 2270’s uniform, the burgundy jacket and rank bars as clean and polished as the day it was presented to him back in Starfleeet Enginering. Now he had to source the security khaki as opposed to his yellow ochre originally but it all was fairly easy to find. He was working on what had to be considered an ancient terminal that he had sourced and retrofitted. There was something about him that was stuck in that era that he enjoyed, perhaps it was the problems of needing to get ships launched, maybe it was that his tenure at utopia planitia from 2288-2299 was the last time he had been active. Had it already been nearly 100 years? No matter he heard the chime and chuckled. A buddy of his made that chime in about 5 minutes when they were looking to roll out the Mariner class and it had been scrapped for sounding ‘too civilian’ but it did get used after all. He looked up and said, “Enter”.

Devin entered the Chief of Security’s office and froze for a span of seconds just taking in his appearance and the old terminal. She took it in and than smiled softly with a hint of cheek, “I am Ensign Devin Ward reporting for security duty, my keys skills are linguistics and investigations but I will take on whatever duty you feel needs doing Sir.”
