It was about lunchtime when an ensign brought Crenity in. The child was screaming her left wing hung strangely clearly broken. The child had likely escaped from however had been watching her. The girls mother had been on duty. Who know where the child’s father was. He was back on board.

The ensign who found the child was confused as to how the girl had gotten into the corridor. “ we have a problem. I found her in the hallway near Ensign Luna’s quarters. Does anyone know who this child belongs to” the ensign said. He most he been fairly new and clearly confused.

Tanis was doing odd job near by and felt the pain of the injured cry of child. He dropped what he was doing and grabbed his med kit and head down the corridor at a dead run heading to there quarters as he heard the screams through the door as he overridden the doors with a pass-code as the doors opened he ran in and started to scan the child as he opened his bag. “Her wing is broken.” as he waited for the mother to speak. as he grabbed his hypo spray and put the child asleep while he realigned her bones and started repairs with a bone knitter and used the dermal regenerator to heal the surrounding tissues. “It might be tender for a few days but she is all in one piece. I will leave this hypospray for the pain.” as he placed it on the table near him for the mother. As he waited just in case there was any questions for him.

OOC: ensign Luna is duty Cernity was found in the hallway and brought in by a passing ensign.

IC: The ensign looked at the doctor. “ I Kind fingered her wing was broken do you know who her parents are” he asked. As for the scan it reviled that the child probably crashed into something a wall perhaps. When Tanis tryed to sidate her the stoped breathing. This was not entirely a surprise however as Ensign Luna had the same reaction to such medications.

“ why did she stop breathing” the ensign said nervously. As for the bone knitter it was not very effective the child’s hollow bird like bone structure being the main problem.

Tanis reversed the medication from sedating her to a stimulant. As he started another scan to see if this helped reverse her condition. Tanis tapped his combadge . “Ensign Luna report to me on the double.” as the combadge cut off as he focused on her daughter. “The child is ensign Luna’s daughter ” he told the officer. As he tried to re double his efforts to bring her back.

It was about two minutes before the child started to breath on her own again. It was another minute before she opened her eyes again. Seeing the strangers around her only made her panic. “ mommy daddy.”she screamed and kicked puched at Tanis.

Soon Luna entered Sickbay to hear Crenity Screeming. She looked around for Loki who was nowhere. “ what happened.” Luna snapped as she walked over to the doctor. Trying desperately to stay calm she could not take care of Crenity until she know what was wrong.

“Her wing was broken. I am not sure what happened to cause that. But I was trying to repair it but I am not sure what I can do. I tried sedating her and give painkillers but I was not aware of her having an allergy or allergic reaction to the meds.” Tanis said with a solemn voice. I will let you handle the child till I can figure out what to do next. without trying to kill anyone. He was glad that her child was fine other than still left with the original problem of fixing her condition of a broken wing. Tanis was trying to keep things in check as he looked over there histories to help with the issues at hand. He slammed his hand down hard on the desk almost broke the glass top. as it cracked from the pressure that Tanis provided as it spiderwebed but did not break through.

Luna listened carfuly as she took Crenity’s hand. She quietly looked over the child. She did atlest stop screaming. She thought for a moment trying to remember her own history. Luna was pulled from her thoughts suddenly as the doctor punched his desk. “ I will be right back” Luna promised to the child before walking over to the doctor. Crenity was safe where she was and more importantly was in to much pain to even think about a disappearing act.

“ breath Doctor” Luna said putting a hand on his shoulder. “ Crenity’s medical records are not going to help you, she has never been exsposed to those medications before, I however have and stopped breathing. There are no children like her you well need to look an my records as well as hers.” She said calmly. Then returned to her child.

He would descover that Luna was right. Crenity’s recordeds were no help to him. They only have the child chekups and nothing about allergy’s or medical conditions, because none had been found until now. Luna’s record however would have a note and several scans from when she broke her wing. They had ended using an old method of setting and casting the bone. It took about two weeks to heal. As far as seductives went there was a warning about her inability to breath on her own when sidated they had ended up putting her on a respirator for the short time that she was under. But if there was anyone how could come up will a better option it would be Tanis.

Tanis hurt his hand pretty badly as the powerful hit caused some minor cuts on his hand also his skin was now turning purple now as the bruise started smaller and started to spread slowly over his hand. He was not sure if it was broken or not as he went back to the patient and her mother and started to do a more in-depth scan of the little patient. ” I might be able to do a few nerve point therapy to sustain the pain a bit without medication. this won’t hurt her in any way. if it works she won’t feel anything as I will take on the brunt her pain for now.” Tanis offered. As he waited for an ok to proceed with that procedure. As he went to the computer and looked up a veterinary log of wing repairs so he got the old school method down just in case as he came across the bone knitting technique to fix a birds win using a very fine setting on the bone-knitter as to heal one side of the bone then slowly work around to the other side of the bone to heal the hollow bone of a wing.

“ are you shure you can handle that” Luna asked looking at him consurned.

“I found a log that might help us. According to records, it should work on any bird species and a small note spoke of a bird species called Aurelian ( http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Aurelian ) race on the homeworld of Aurelia that the procedure worked effectively with them. With amazing results. I am going to add this process to the medical library for future reference. I know this process has not been tried on your race but we can try at least. If you are ok with it.” Tanis started reprogramming the bone-knitter to a more finer beam setting just in case and it can’t be hurt to prepared he thought to himself. He had higher hopes that this would work. Than he reprogrammed the dermal regenerator to a finer setting to help with the wound repair.

“ Tanis Crenity and I are human” Luna said looking and the information. “ let’s try it” Luna added after a moment.

“What are your thoughts as he looked towards the mother and waited patiently. As he looked at the little patient. “Do you recognize me now little one?” Tanis asked in a soft voice. “You know I would not harm you on purpose right?” Tanis said feeling the anger return as he forced it back where it came again. As he grabbed another dermal regenerator on normal setting and ran it over his hand to deal with the cuts and bleeding he will deal with the rest of his hand later. As he went to sterilize hi wound for now and grabbed a glove just in case and put it on his hand. His hand was showing more bruising. As Tanis cringed a bit from the pain in his hand.

Crenity gave him a puzzled expression. She was still smiling thow she reached for him.” Are tou hurt too” she asked. Luna shook her head and looked at Tanis.” You know braking your own bones dose not help” she said jokingly. Tanis kinda ignored the issue about being hurt at the moment he was more focused on the child.

“I never knew a human had wings?” Tanis said softly to them. I would classify as an angel A myth out of the Teran ancient history.” Tanis said as he heard the answers. Very well as he started focusing on the repairs of the wing. as he started to attempt to mend the bones again slowly. “No insult intended Luna.” As Tanis tried small talk to reduce tentions.

“I am sorry little one I need to get you better is all then I will leave your wing alone.” Tanis said softly to her hoping she understood I hope the pain is subsiding.” As he continued his work on the child. He was not sure what to say about the experiments. As he tried to not think about the commented and the pain in his hand. as he finished off his work and “Does that feel any better little one. “It might be tender for a few days but she will be fine. Tanis said with a sigh as he moved back to let mother take a look at his work. and check over the child.

Crenity crossed her armes and glared to the Doctor. “ don’t tuch my wings again” she said angrily before tenitively opening an closing her wind. “ I’m sorry, children can be difficult and she’s a little upset. Will I need to try and keep her from flying?” Luna asked ignoring the child’s behavior for a moment. She know it was best to give her a moment to calm down.

Tanis picked up his tools and placed them back into his toolkit as he ignored the child. As he turned to Luna. “that is your choice but I believe she will be fine now. I will go now.” Tanis said in a saddened voice as the cabin door opened. Knowing him leaving was the best thing to do at this point. Tanis said nothing more as he left quietly to his own thought. Now he will have to explain to the CMO about his Majorly Broken hand now. as he cringed in pain as he held the medical kit in his hand carefully. As he made his way back to medical as the doors slid open. He was glad all was quiet and no one saw him at presently. As he placed his toolkit where he ha it earlier as he tried to deal with cleaning duties hoping the time for shift to end soon.

“ thank you doctor “ Luna said with a smile as Tanis started to pick up. Just before he was done Crenity lepted from the table and flew right at him. She tested to tackle him with a hug. “ Thank you I feel better now” she giggled returning to her usual happy self. “ I think you made a friend” Luna said with a smile.
