One of the most frustrating parts of starting a new assignment was the need for a psych evaluation. DeSai had, however only had this experience once before but had already come to this conclusion as their next ‘annual’ evaluation had only been carried out only 4 weeks previously.

They ran their hand back through their bright blue hair before ringing the chime.

The door slid open to reveal a Vulcan sitting at a desk. “You may enter, and then have a seat if you so desire.”

“Thank you, Lieutenant,” Zarus said as they entered and took a seat. It was unusual for there to be a Vulcan counsellor, bit when Zarus thought about it logically, it made perfect sense. Despite many peoples misconceptions about Vulcans lacking emotion, the truth was the exact opposite. They had actually mastered much more intense levels of emotion.

“I am Zarus DeSai,” Zarus said politely.

-Zarus

“And I am Avarak.” The Vulcan nodded at Zarus. “Now, before I ask any questions, I would like to ask if there is anything you wish to inform me of, such as topics you would wish me not to touch upon at this juncture, or simply just items that would serve no purpose.”
