“And a reluctance to visit a doctor for something cosmetic?” Nevin asked with a smile.

Tanis listened to all . “You all sound like you came from wonderful worlds.” Tanis smiled calmly to them all.

“So do you,” Nevin replied, “I grew up in a poor area of a city. Run down and desperately in need of regeneration following the occupation. Father tells me the in the last few months the regeneration of that area has finally started, but he had already managed to buy a small home in a rural part of the province.”

“That’s good news that things seem to be getting better. Maybe I will get to see it someday.” Tanis said sincerely to the officer. “It’s nice when things can get better and not worse.”
