Paul looked back across at his commanding officer, ”Well I can offer you a hat right now” he said pointing to a baseball cap on one if the shelves. ”Or if you wait two minutes till I’m doing with this young ladies arm I can do something more useful.” he switched tools for an osteoregeneretor and began mending the break.

“You have a hat that’s anatomically correct for an Andorian?” Zarath gave the Doctor an exaggerated look of surprise before grinning and taking a look around Sickbay. “Of Course, Doc, no rush…”

”you want someone to punch holes in things for you for your antenna you be better to go see this one that works the phasers.” he said indicating Quinn as he finished with her injury, ”I’m a doctor not a tailor.” he grumped.

The’lin grinned at the jest, and shook his head. He took a seat while waiting.

Looking at Quinn he rotated her wrist and examined the arm. “now you…trouble. Take a seat and wait five minutes, quietly, then you can leave. Go easy on that arm for the next 24 hours.”

He turned to Zarath. “Right let’s look at you then.” He said leading the way to the main biobed.

The Andorian followed hudson, and then sat down on the biobed that was indicated. “it’s the lighting, Doc. It’s brighter than I’m generally used to. I’ve tried not think about it, but I’ve been having headaches after duty shifts.” He watched as Hudson moved around.

Paul scowled at Quinn and pointed at the chair where he could still see her. ”Sit Trouble.” he said firmly.

Turning his attention back to Zarath his expression softened a little. Not much, but there was definitely less furrowed rolls on his forehead. He straightened his glasses and ran the hand held part of the tricorder across the man’s head.

”What are you doing to counter it or did that not occur to you?” he asked. Stepping away he fiddled with a hypo and brought to the captains shoulder. ”This should ease the tension in your head just now…” he said as he moved to read the medical panel.
