Feeling for the magnetic fields of the structure showed it was weakened but probably not going to collapse any time soon long as nothing took out anymore of the core support structure.

Just then a report came in from the Sentinel. =^=Cmdr. Cerny, a new tunnel was recently opened in the mine, designate Alpha-2. Logs show a red ore was discovered. It appears to be highly flammable, perhaps the reason for the burning mine, as well as causing intense skin irritation in humanoids. This is just an assumption, but perhaps it causes some kind of irritation in the cows as well, possibly making them ‘untrustworthy’?=^=

For Ovik on patrol with some NE security red shirts they were around the back of the building when a snuffling was heard from behind an overly large rock. Coming around the corner was one of the local bulls. Its head shook and turned to eye them with something akin to greater intelligence then a bull should really have.

Ovik cocked his head at the bull as well, trying to dig a bit deeper into what it was doing looking at them. Twas an odd sensation. ~”Hello?”~ Ovik thought, wanting to say it out loud.

Ovik finally started to put something concrete in his head, after he separated again to take a look at things. “Captain?” He said calmly yet a bit louder over his shoulder. “We could use a set of eyes over here.”

No sooner had Ovik seemed to register the bull, when it snorted and charged! The charge was fast, and took NE FirstBlood by surprise goring him into the rock with a crushed pelvis and ribs along his center mass. “..ARGH…” he cried gurgling up blood. The bull stepping back to attempt another run at the poor NE to attempt to finish him off.

The Andorian’s pace sped to a run as he heard the noise of the attack. Pelting like a mad man, The’lin thumbed his Phaser pistol to a higher stun setting as he ran. As soon as he got around the side of the building and had a visual on the animal, he fired. “Ovik, Cover!” The’lin shouted, trying to put himself between the injured NE and the Bull, ready to fire again.

The bull tossed its head to the side as it took the phaser blast its charge though continued but came up short of goring the Captain by collapsing to the ground at his feet from his shot.

Ovik rolled onto the ground and fired his phaser, on stun as well. When he realized this bull was bigger than a couple humanoids, he upped the power as well. He also then picked up some small stones and threw them at the bull to get its attention. They might be able to save the NE.

As the general noise carried over Paul frowned and tilting his head looked at Quinn. “Do you hear that?” He asked and put away his med kit.

Ovik called out, now that he wasn’t trying to be quiet with the bull. “Doctor Hudson?!”

NE Firstblood gurgled again slumping to the ground, covering his gored stomach and lower chest. “..It.....hurts.....” he said then sighed slumping down.

Once the bull was down, The’lin knelt over the NE grabbing the man’s hand and squeezing, not wanting to worsen any of his wounds by touching them.. “Hang on, Ensign, Doc’s on the way… Hang in there…” Looking over his shoulder, he yelled. “HUDSON!!”

Paul was at a run with Quinn right behind. He came to his knees at the NE’s side and had medkit open immediately as he tried to get a view of the damage. His expression grim he scowled at Zarath. ”The hell happened?” he demanded and began examining the man as he waited for the explanation. He immediately applied a hypo of painkiller.
