A lean clean shaven slightly built young fellow with dark black hair walked through the opened doors. His blue uniform was neatly pressed and his black slacks had creases in it snapped to attention “Ensign Savage reporting in for my physical”

Ens. Savage, Sci

Ovik had meandered by on his first day, checking in here before he reported into his department. Of course, as one might expect at a not-as-favored item on a new officer’s checklist, the medical bay was busy.

The Vulcan sidled up near the one who introduced himself as Savage. “Ensign Ovik reporting as well,” he said as he was acknowledged by one of the staff.

Paul looked up from the chart he was holding and frowned. “Well what do you want a medal? Go wait over there the both of you till I get a second.” He grumbled and waved a ringed hand at some chairs at the side of the medical bay. He went back to his chart and then crossed to another young officer who was talking with a NE Nurse, apparently just finishing her physical exam. He smiled and gave her instructions on some iron supplements in a very different tone than he had addressed Ovik and Savage.

Then he was back ,”Right, you two which one wants to get seen to first?” He asked.

Ovik had a seat with the other Ensign and waited patiently. “I’m Ovik, new security officer.” He waited patiently for an introduction from David as well.

Eventually, the doctor came over in short order asking who was first. “Mr. Savage was here before me, doctor.”

Paul raised an eyebrow. ”Yeah, first come first serve isn’t really a thing here just now. Luckily for you both theres plenty of space for everyone. So how about security gets the cardio exam first…” he pointed to the NE and the short exam table under the pedals mounted into the wall ”and Science gets the other part of the exam…” he pointed to the main biobed.

Crossing his arms he waited for them to agree or disagree.

David nodded agreement with the “cheerful” doctor.

Ovik nodded as well. “This is agreeable.” He headed over to the pedal chair and got settled in for the cardio exam. He was familiar but he waited for the go-ahead before he started.

Ens. Ovik, Security

While Ovik got comfortable a Nurse in blue smiled, “Hello I’m nurse Belle, I’ll be conducting this part of your exam, if you let me know where you are comfortable and ready.” She said and moved to check the readings on the monitor at the side of the table.

David shook his head “not that I’m aware of Doc”

Ovik nodded to the Nurse as he settled in. “I am ready, Nurse Belle.” He then started moving with the machine, matching the movements and getting his heart going a bit quicker. He watched the readouts on the monitor as things came back mostly normal, as far as Ovik could tell from his position.
