It was a day later and everyone had settled into their jobs on the Sentinel just waiting for their first mission orders when excitedly a comm call beep came in at the comm station from Commodore Finny from Earth Starbase where they were docked.

Amber was going over the logs from the list of repairs and upgrades to her station that had been during the refit. Her brow rising as the incoming message alert beeped. “Captain, incoming message for Commodore Finny. Would you like it on screen or in your Ready Room?” It pleased her to finally have something to say besides talking to the engineering NE behind her about how new and shiny everything was.

Zarath swiveled the Captain’s chair half-round, antennae waving. “Thank you, Ms. Josen. On the Viewer please.” Turning forward once more, The Andorian stood up and straightened his gold uniform top. Habitually, he turned his head partly toward Mr. Cerny’s station, though his eyes remained on the screen. Th’ellin was already used to relying on his staff for pertinent information during calls.
