Main Sim (Cascade Failure)- Sickbay
Posted by Lieutenant Junior Grade Leah Hart (Nurse Practitioner/Counseling) in Main Sim (Cascade Failure)- Sickbay
With the change in alert status and the news that there were wounded on their way, Leah set about making sure they were ready. “Alright, look alive folks. Incoming injuries, no specifics. Prepare for anything,” she said, as she moved about Sickbay in a predetermined path that allowed her to look over all the biobeds.“Sound off,” Hart said.
“Medications, check.”
“Backup power, check.”
“Biobeds, check,” Leah said. “Alright, good.”

It didn’t take long for sickbay to become inundated with wounded.
Lieutenant Arlen Vos
Division: Operations
Species: Human
Age: 41
A middle aged human Lt in ops red arrived supported between two damage-control crewmen, barely able to keep weight on his right leg. His uniform sleeve wa partially fused to the skin along his forearm. Blood has soaked through the lower portion of his trouser leg, though the fabric is blackened enough to obscure the source clearly. He remains conscious and alert, though visibly struggling to focus.
A young Vulcan science ensign was brought in unconscious on an antigrav stretcher by two security officers. A thin trail of green blood extends from beneath her left ear down the side of her neck. There are no visible burns, but faint discoloration is visible beneath the skin near her temple.
A male cheif petty officer arrived under his own power. His breathing is shallow and uneven, and one side of his uniform jacket has been removed entirely. Jagged scoring marks and embedded metallic fragments are visible across his shoulder and upper torso. His hands shake continuously.
Crewman First Class Selik
Division: Security
Species: Vulcan
Age: 58
The next patient was a Vulcan security crewman carried in unconscious by two other security officers. The left side of his face and neck show extensive bruising beneath torn uniform fabric. His breathing is audible from several meters away, slow but strained. One arm hangs at an unnatural angle off the side of the biobed as the attendants maneuver him into position.
The last to enter Sickbay was a Deltan female. She entered without assistance but nearly collapsed immediately after crossing the doorway. There is dried blood across the front of her collar from a split lower lip. One hand remains tightly clenched around a damaged PADD, knuckles pale from the grip. She appears aware of her surroundings
