Stovik remained just inside the threshold rather than immediately stepping out, his posture straight and composed as officers moved between their stations under the muted glow of indicator panels and sensor displays.

His dark Vulcan robes stood in stark contrast to the surrounding Starfleet uniforms, though the Vulcan himself seemed entirely unconcerned by the distinction.

Dark eyes settled upon Commander Thraz sh’Kellirathras near the command well. After a brief moment, Stovik inclined his head respectfully.

“Commander sh’Kellirathras,” he said evenly from the turbolift entrance. “Specialist Stovik reporting aboard the Sentinel under transfer orders from the Vulcan Science Academy and the USS Chernov.”

He paused with characteristic formality.

“Requesting permission to enter the bridge and formally report for duty, sir.”
