Cmdr. Alden was called away to engineering, so Rand was asked with delivering the note to En. Chandel for analysis. She hurried down to deck 9 in search of the newest member of the science team. When she found her, Rand entered the lab. “Ensign Chandel. Cmdr. Alden asked me to deliver this. He wants you to complete a full forensic analysis of it and report your findings to him and Captain Adam as soon as you are done.” Rand handed her a sealed case with a piece of paper inside. “It was left by the intruder. They want to know everything they can about it and the person who left it.”The man had joined Rand on the lift from the bridge. Before exiting on deck 2 he had told Rand they were all in danger and to not go on this mission. He handed her the before he ran off.
The paper had ‘Danger - TQ’ and under it, a series of 10 digits. Those digits were were the coordinates to Cipharus III.
Yeoman Rand
Chandel frowned in concentration as she accepted the artifact and studied it for a moment. “Understood, thank you, Yeoman.” Moving over to equipment she set packet down before slipping on gloves and then very gently removed the paper from its protective covering. She studied both sides before sliding the paper into one of her machines to see what the computer could tell her about the physical paper itself as well if whether the words were handwritten or computer generated.
She then tapped her fingers on the console while she asked the computer. “Computer are there any place names with the initials of TQ around or on Cipharus III?”Ensign Chandel Sci
As Chandel began to work the equipment sat blankly and quiet. The computer did not respond to her inquiry. The computers were still down, the ship operating on life support power only. She would have to conduct the tests by hand.

Chandel frowned as she smacked her dead console and muttered to herself, “Well now, that is inconvenient.” She wondered when the computer had gone down, she sighed as picked up a pair of long tweezers and picked up the paper, as she studied it she even sniffed it to see if there was any odor to it. The letters definitely looked hand written though a very neat hand. TQ…tq, she pondered. Hmm she needed a map, she wondered if there were any static maps in astrometrics. It was worth a shot with no working computer. Sliding the paper into the protective sleeve she set down the tweezers and headed out to Astrometrics.
