The Commodore checked in with the yeoman outside the ship and as he stepped onto the ship, he heard the familiar whistle announcing his arrival on the ship. He pressed the button outside the turbolift and smiled at a crewman passing by as he waited.

The moment the Commodore was gone, Rand lifted her comm off her belt and flipped it open. [O] Rand to Bridge. Inform Cpt. Asam that Commodore Nechilla has arrived on board.[C]

[O]Aknowleged Rand. Captain Asam said to pass along her thanks. Bridge out.[C]

Yeoman Rand

Asam turned to Alden who was doing a rotation of bridge duty. “Are we due an official inspection?” They had just come off some interesting missions. The crew needed a break and the K7 crews had swarmed the ship. They were far from inspection ready. Oh well, the Captain thought. Take ‘em or leave ‘em. The Sentinel had an outstanding crew.

The familiar whoos sounded and he waited until a few junior officers stepped off headed for the starbase. Once in the lift he twisted the handle. “Bridge” His deep voice was deadened by the carpet in the lift.

He stepped off the lift and onto the bridge. The familiar sounds greeted him as he stepped off the lift and onto the bridge. “Captain Asam, May we talk in private for a moment?”

She stood from her chair, at attention, just like the rest of the bridge crew, as Nechilla stepped off the lift. “Of course Commodore, we can use the conference room on Deck 3.” She motioned for Alden to join them. “Lt. Ra’ti,” she addressed their tactical officer, “You have the conn.”
