While the senior staff was being briefed about the situation onboard, an unauthorized access alert started. The computer access point in the lower stellar cartography lab would indicate that someone without the proper codes had managed to breach computer security protocols to access sensitive information in the ship database.

Due to the nature and location of the breach, alerts activated at one of each of the Engineering and Science consoles on the Bridge, the Chief Science Officer’s main console, and the Chief of Security Officer’s Office. However, only senior staff were able to access more information than that an unauthorized data breach had occurred.
