He set aside the inventory list for the warheads the Sentinel carried and said “Well, no time like the present.”… also to no one in particular.

A few moments later, he walked into Sickbay and smiled at the nurse. “Hey, Cherrel. I heard your new boss’s invitation. Thought I’d take him up on it.” The nurse took a breath and said, somewhat louder than was necessary, “Of course, Lieutenant Ra’Ti. I will see if the Chief Medical Officer has time to see you right away. One moment… sir.” and she stood and walked away. “Sir?” Xam said softly with a confused expression on his face. “Last time she called me sir it was to ask for the key to the handcuffs…”
