Once Karl was at the three story building, the first floor just a basic lobby mostly with smaller maintenance off shoots, while the second and third floors were given over to meeting rooms and office labs. Entering through the double plexi-glass doors he saw the lobby was about 50x50 or so feet square roughly with a side elevator that went up and down it seemed and another to the right which was an emergency stair access up and down. In the center of the well shined floor and grey-brown color tones sat a woman in a simple worker’s outfit typing away at a PADD. Hearing the hiss the double doors made as Karl entered she looked up setting the PADD aside. “..Ah yes, hello. NE Technician forwarded a message to me of your expected arrival. May I ask your name so I can sign you in and forward your needs to the appropriate person?” she asked.

“Of course, Karl Johansson” He said with a friendly smile “If it matters for your records I am the Starfleet Chief Engineer by occupation and a Master Chief by rank” He added almost as an afterthought “I need to see the repair documents regarding an incident a week or two ago, I believe it was a repair team led by a Team Lead Garns Designation Repair Team 19. Power fluctuations in the northern pole area. I’d also need access to all maintenance reports since the last Starfleet Inspections but if at all possible I’d like to see the incident report first” He put his toolbox down and clasped his hands behind his back.

The woman nodded a bit, scrolling through a PADD for the information requested as well as registering Karl into their visiting system. “..Ok Mr Johansson you are now registered in the visitation system, here is your visitor pass please keep it on you at all times. Be warned it will beep loudly if you attempt to access areas visitors are not allowed..” She said handing him a pin on tag. Returning to the PADD she nodded again after a moment, “..Ah yes Team Lead Garns for that repair team and incident is currently in maintenance office 9. One moment while I call him..” She said.

After a pair of beeps a gruff yet well groomed bearded man in his late 30s came up on the screen, =/\= Yes what is it, Stacey? =/\= Garns spat clearly annoyed that someone interrupted whatever he had been doing.

”..Apoligies for interrupting Mr Garns, but one of the Fleeters is here to review an engineering incident with you while with team 19 handling repairs of a power fluncation at the northern geothermal pole station two weeks ago? His name is Karl Johansson..” She said.
