USS Sentinel

Main Sim - Vok III - Engineering Inspection

[snip]

The NE nodded a bit, “..Most of our spare parts are either manufactured locally here, or on one of our other two nearby sister colonies..” he said in reply then checked over some work logs, “..Only stand out was some brief power flucations from our geothermal and hydro-damn power plants up north near the northern pole region about a week or two back. But repair team 19 under Team Lead Garns got out there to fix those, so we should be good.” he said.

Karl nodded slowly, that was positive as the capabilities for supplying themselves with vital components for power uses there more they could hold onto what they seemed to hold most dear, their own independence. He didn’t really understand why they wanted to do so but they had made their decision and they seemed to be happy with it. So long as no one suffered they could do as they wished in his mind. He shook his head dismissing his thoughts, that were above his paygrade “I’ll need to see the report the repair team made as well as the data surrounding those fluctuations. Also, I’ll need the maintenance reports since the last Fleet inspection, is there someone I’ll need to speak with about that or can I access it through your system?” he asked

Master Chief Karl - CE

Giving a pointed finger down to another maintenance and office buildings about two or so blocks down the row here. “..Head down to control office A on your left there. Ask for Chief Samson, he can pull up the logs I think..” The NE said.

Once Karl was at the three story building, the first floor just a basic lobby mostly with smaller maintenance off shoots, while the second and third floors were given over to meeting rooms and office labs. Entering through the double plexi-glass doors he saw the lobby was about 50x50 or so feet square roughly with a side elevator that went up and down it seemed and another to the right which was an emergency stair access up and down. In the center of the well shined floor and grey-brown color tones sat a woman in a simple worker’s outfit typing away at a PADD. Hearing the hiss the double doors made as Karl entered she looked up setting the PADD aside. “..Ah yes, hello. NE Technician forwarded a message to me of your expected arrival. May I ask your name so I can sign you in and forward your needs to the appropriate person?” she asked.
