Rende took the lift to deck 3. [O]Lieutenant Ra’Ti, meet me in Transporter Room 1 for landing party duty.[C] She stopped by her quarters grabbing her personal phaser and slipping a few “personal safety measures” in her pockets. Then she proceeded down the corridor and transporter room 1.

Asam, CO

Ra’Ti had just finished completing the inventory of warheads and probes when the call came in. He scowled in confusion for a moment, but then shrugged. Orders were orders, after all. He went to his locker and pulled out his duty belt with a security tricorder, phaser, and small blade concealed in the middle of the belt. He slipped a few ‘party favors’ into various pockets as well. His time as a… not Star Fleet officer had led to some habits that he couldn’t (or more accurately, didn’t *want to) shake. He then made his way to the Transporter Room.

Walking in, he spied the new Captain and smiled. “Ma’am. Reporting as ordered.”

Ra’Ti, Tactical

Rende looked him over. Years of experience, far beyond any she had in Star Fleet let her pick up hints of how he prepared and she nodded with approval. “Thank you, Lt. Not your typical Tactical situation, but tactics aren’t reserved solely for ship to ship combat.” Rende stepped up onto the pad. “Since they keep running unto trouble with pirates perhaps you can school them on their tactical deficiencies.”

Xam grinned. “Oh, I could probably point them in the right direction at least, Skipper.” he said as stepped up on the pad and stood behind and to the left of Asam, adjusting his belt so the phaser sat on his left hip to cover her non-dominant side.

“When you’re ready Chief, Energize.”
