Shirley waved her hand dismissively at the waitress in a casually manner, “Oh no worries, we have plenty of coin my dear. I was just wondering about the pricing was all. I assure you that there is nothing to worry about. I look forward to trying this place out, I am sure the food is lovely. What is the most popular item on the menu? I will try that.”

Shirley beamed at the waitress and looked to her crew, “Go on everyone, place your orders.”

Shirley took a side glance at Marcus, “I will cover the cost of your meal my friend. I know that you have had troubles in the job hunt recently. Plus that is what friends are for.” She winked at her Security officer playing the part well. She looked around the tavern to see if anything stood out in regards to the odd figures around her. She was attempting to find an anomaly of some sort, her eyes scanned the room, trying to find any tip so that she can move the mission along. She did not have time to dilly dally with eating all night. It was time for the crew to get on point.

  • Captain Shirley Rogers

David sighed lightly. He imagined the tavern was where they would find the easiest to come by information. He assumed the Captain had a plan beyond dashing out on the bill, but that he would leave to her unless she asked for his help. For the time being, he took an interest in what was happening around them, listening to the conversations of the other tables and patrons.

“You’re too kind ma’am,” Marcus replied with a thankful grin, then coughed when he realised he was laying on the country hick accent a little too thickly.

-Lieutenant Junior Grade Marcus Anders: Chief of Security-

Pawl found it odd to concentrate every time he heard the accent from Lt Jg Markus Anders to him it was rather sexy to him but he did his best to keep focused on the task at hand for the protection of all in the party. Pawl quickly ordered a simple meal he could handle easily. “Some warm fresh bread and butter and some cheeses too.” He calmly ordered his meal from the waitress. As he kept his eyes open for anything that might be a danger to them and the party. As he briefly looked at the captain for a moment after the order was taken. Before he started to scan the room again very slowly.

Once everyone had placed their orders, their waitress nodded, and bowed slightly, “..I will return shortly with your drinks..” She said.

For everyone looking around there was only those groups mentioned before. The musicians setting up, the hooded trio in one corner that gave off a creepy vibe, a pair of women playing cards of some kind, and a single man across the tavern in a colorful mix of different browns in a suit that the more and more Marcus and David in particular would tell seemed to be quite closely studying them all in return. When it seemed obvious he had been caught studying them he smiled a bit and raised his glass to them before turning his attention seemingly back on the musicians setting up.

Paul was curious about what the musicians were going to play for some odd reason this interested him. He tried to get a better look at the instruments. Even from his vantage point, he had a nice view of the group. “Interesting we’re going to have some music soon.” Paul said calmly and softly. He was not sure what time of day was but this should be pleasant. He was liking this world but he knew it was still not a good idea for a vacation since of the prime directive rule would prevent that idea. So he would try to soak up all he could of this atmosphere while he could. He smiled softly as the group as a whole was waiting for their orders. Even as the musicians tuned up their instruments it was mesmerizing to him. “I can’t wait to hear them.” He said softly to himself . Hoping he was not disturbing the others at the party.

“I think we have a friend,” Marcus whispered to Sweeney and began to cross the floor to meet their new admirer.
