Roman had already gotten the idea approved, he just had yet to implement it. Converting the empty ship storage space into an arboretum would give the ship an extra recreational area, the botanists from his lab a place to grow various plants, and generally be a pleasant addition to the Sentinel.

He just needed to go over it with an engineer and plan out how best to actually make it happen. There were various engineering concerns Roman simply wasn’t equipped to handle himself. He stood, taking with him a disk of “wants” for the arboretum and his PaDD, and headed to Engineering to meet with Lieutenant Cleolet to go over it.
